I love seeing other enthusiasts do absolutely insane shit like this for coasters 🤣. Last weekend I woke up at 2:30 on Saturday, drove 9 hours down to Kings Dominion (I live in Boston), stayed there all day, slept from 10:30-6am, then drove the 10 hours back home. I was so tired but it was so awesome. Great video as always Ryan

That's what I'm doing today. Woke up at 4. Leaving PA for Six Flags GA. 7 hour trip. Going to stay till about 8, drive the 7 hours home. Luckily I'm off tomorrow. It's going to be tiring 😂

Man I go to BGT every other Tuesday. Ive made my kids almost as big of coaster nerds as I am. Love the drops on Sand Serpent being mixed with IG death roll 😂

@Ryan Bigguy agreed thats when we get there (usually) this tuesday there was a bunch of school field trips. All summer the only day ill go is a tuesday or weds. Love when its dead on a tuesday and I can marathon IG all day. Those are the best
Sand serpant is underrated
@Rail Faner it is for what kinda coaster it is. Its a clone but yes its a good ride but its days are numbered. I know one of these weeks ima go to the park and shell be gone forever

Even though it was only like 6 seconds, that paramore at the beginning really took me back to being 16 years old and driving 3 hours to Dollywood with my cousin playing all 4 albums from the time back to back. Good times man.

Craziest "day trip" I did was for Buzzed Bars Coaster Club's Stumble325.
Left Columbus, OH at 2am to arrive at Carowinds for opening. Partied the entire day with BBCC, slept at the Carowinds Springhill Suites for 4 hours, woke up at 4am to drive back home. It was brutal, but 100% worth it.
ETR and the Coaster Idiots should definitely come to SooperDooperStumble at Hershey in September, it's going to be lit!
I had an insane trip once in Florida. Spent the week pulling 10+ hour days working a trade show. Booked a flight at 2 am from Florida to Charlotte. Getting an Uber at that time was crazy. Arrived in Charlotte before my hotel room was available. Dropped my bags and I was starving. Having only had a few hours of sleep and a dining plan, it seemed like a good place to go for food. I then spent the time running around all day at the park. Finally, almost falling a sleep well, eating a slice of pizza across from vortex. Guess I should have done more laps on after burn, needed those Gs to keep me awake.
Nothing is worse than those two seat checkers for iron gwazi haha. No one even cares to speed it up. Only during the last hour of the day.
TPR be banning all that don't say Weeeee or sing while in a log flume.

Hey, Ryan. I'm in Albuquerque. Sort of a quiet about my enthusiasm, but my girlfriend and I love the channel! All we've really got is the New Mexico Rattler out here at Cliff's, and seasons passes ran out when I went to purchase one, so in retaliation, I decided I was going to go ride Gwazi and do dumb damage to my savings account. Literally flying out Thursday night, sleeping on a plane (maybe), spending all Friday at the park, overnight in some AirBnb camper, then flying back Saturday morning. Doing it solo since no one was willing to go that hard, but saw your video shortly after, and it gave me the Florida water I needed to carry on. Thanks for all you do, man!
Went to BGT last weekend for the first time and I'm damn glad we started with Iron Gwazi too, even tho the wait sucked. Dispatches regularly between 3 and 4 minutes. I was with my cousin who used to be a ride op at Disney and he was laughing at how horrendous the dispatches were too. And we even got the station breakdown!
It's ok cause we ended up waiting about an hour and my cousins absolutely loved the ride. We almost walked on to everything else.
As an op from SFGAD, sea world/ Busch gardens ops made me want to cry

Cheetah Hunt is a very good ride. Rather underrated imo.
While not the most thrills , it is just really fun. I was lucky to get a ride in the front, those s turns were a blast there.
I did a day trip like this one time for Lagoon out of LAX - was a great day until I left my keys in the Salt Lake City airport on the way home! Would still recommend, Cannibal is worth it.
I definitely need to see why everyone says Montu is so intense, might make a trip down there soon

The pain of Iron Gwazi slooooow load times. Loved the guy with the Magic Mountain shirt, was there last week, twisted, tatsu and X2. X2 wasn't scarry since I ride Nighthawk at my home park. Can't wait for SteVe.

TPR is a site full of Robb Alveys boot licks. His inner circle kisses his and his wife’s ass so much. And if you don’t they ban you. They really hate people who may have opinions that differ from theirs.
Next time you're at BGT, keep an eye out for Gert! She's an awesome lady in a wheelchair, usually wearing some loud leggings that's there just about every day. She's the unofficial mayor of the park and I'd love to see her on one of these videos!
Truly a world class park. I live in Orlando but BGT is what I consider my home park. I didn’t catch his name, but the dude you rode with who said he’s been on IG over 2k times is always there when I go. He’s a legend. And yes, weekdays have horrible ops, but the trade off is that the park is empty so everything is a walk on. Glad you had fun.

I visited Busch Gardens Tampa for the first time last Thursday May 18th. there was absolutely no one in the park, hardly anyone in line for Iron Gwazi. each dispatch was in the 180-250 second range. a 2 train wait was almost 10 minutes, insane.

Great video, my son and I did the same thing in March. 6am Newark to Tampa, straight to Busch Gardens. Plus we went to USF and IOA the following day before heading back to Jersey, awesome time.

When I was there back in Jan 2023, the average dispatch time for Iron Gwazi was around 170 - 180 seconds
same, went mid January for 3 days and lucky to get a few 120s, mostly 150s. Funny at closing they were clearing them in 100 seconds...
I was there last week and it was horrendous lol.
End of April was abysmal but I thought it was because they were training someone. I guess it is pretty slow all of the time. Dispatches were OK on other coasters. Most delays were due to the riders.
The ops will hit 999 once ever 2 hours when I went to Busch gardens back in March for my first visit

I work at cedar point and I’m thinking of doing a couple day trips like this some flying some driving like almost 9 hrs just to get to one park 😂
I did similar to Six Flags Over Georgia a couple weeks ago, flew from Cleveland to Atlanta at 7am, got to ATL around 9, park was open 11-8, then flew back to CLE at 11pm. Absolutely insane, but I would 100% do it again

My siblings & I had one of the 1st reverse pov vids ever recorded on Montu. My Uncle & his friend managed to sneak a Hi-8 video camera on the ride back in the mid-90’s. That was a miracle feat because camcorders weren’t very compact back then. He sat in the row in front of us & his wide angle converter was just wide enough to film me & my 2 siblings. It’s still tons of fun to watch.

This whole park and especially Iron Gwazi was soooo disappointing to me. It’s hyped up so much I was so excited to visit and have some new favorite coasters but everything was majorly underwhelming. Gotta get back to see if a different day makes it for me. But love the content Ryan, you’re crushing it and it’s good to see some goofy vlogs back!
My friends and I in Colorado have an annual 24Hr trip where we all call in sick and the yearly leader gets to drag us all to have an epic day wherever they want, without exceeding $400 per person. We’ve been 24Hr tourists in DC, we flew to Seattle for a rainy hike and a concert, and last year we stayed up all night in Las Vegas.
2 years ago, I made us all fly to LA for a day at Magic Mountain like this, topped off with a sunset at Venice Beach. My friends are definitely not enthusiasts like me and so a rapid fire sequence of Twisted Colossus, Scream, the pendulum flat ride, Riddler’s Revenge, and Batman the Ride finally made my best friend vomit after unloading from Batman. Good times 😂

I used to live in Waco, Texas, and I had a flight out of Austin (1.5 hrs south) around 10 or 11pm. Some friends of mine were in Dallas for the day (1.5 hrs north) and wanted to go to Six Flags Over Texas. So I drove 1.5 hrs north to meet them and ride coasters for the day, left the park around 6, drove 3 hours south to Austin and got to the airport around 9 for my flight. Good times.
lmk when your next universal trip is. I have a connection that can get you and couple friends escorted to the front of the lines. We marathoned velocicoaster and hagrids like mad last time!
I did a day trip to CGA and SFDK from Los Angeles. 5 hour drive there and back. It didn’t go well lol. Both are new parks for me and I went for Railblazer especially. It ended up being closed for the day after going down earlier in the morning. I rode Goldstriker, Flight Deck and Grizzly then drove to SFDK to try to finally ride Joker, Medusa, Batman, Superman etc. Well, it was raining by then so I only got to ride Medusa and Kong before the park closed early because of rain. Joker had closed its line right before I got in the park. Needless to say I will be taking a redemption trip back there very soon lol. It is also safe to say I will never ride another SLC again🤕
I did a day trip to bgt like this too during season pass preview days for gwazi. Like $40 round trip flights from Indy and I took the bus too and from the airport so I spent a total of like $60 the whole day haha
I did 3000 miles over 32 hours, DEN to ATL for 25 rides on Arie Force One. 68$ ROUND TRIP TICKET BABYYYYY!! You're an inspiration to all of us Ryan.

I been doing Sunday day trips to BGT and SWO lately. Just went to SeaWorld on the 21st to check out Pipeline (it was sick btw) and I'm probably gonna be going back to Busch here in a couple weeks to chill for the day. It may be a 3hr and 4hr drive to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens respectively but it's totally worth it. Easily my two favorite parks to go to since I don't have to sell off my kidneys to afford them, and they're not crazy crowded.
I love this series it is awesome and hilarious. I can’t wait to go to bgt in 2 and a half weeks but in the meantime this weekend I am going to Atlanta for a day trip to six flags and fun spot can’t wait to ride arie force one twisted cyclone Goliath and in two and a half weeks Montu and iron gwazi.

For whatever reason iron gwazi operations were very slow unlike any of the other rides at the park, they were solid.

I absolutely love saying the best park has the absolute fastest coaster in Iron Gwazi. With all the rich folk that keep spending at Universal Studios almost $$200..00US per day. I have looked at there new theme park Epic Universe [ unless I am missing something ] I see NO new coaster going over 70 mph. 1 Word Outstanding

Ride ops were horrible when we went last month. They would have all 3 cheetah hunt trains in the station and still would take like 5+ mins to get out. Gwazi was routinely 3-5 mins.

I've done around 6 day trips from VA to SFGAdv, all in early Nov. except 2020 when I also ended up at Playland's and rode Gale Force, craziest coaster in NJ. ;)

Last summer I was at BGT nearly every weekend and there were several days I saw consistent 80-90s dispatches and I just don't know what happened. Now if it's doing 160 I'm like "oh yea blazing ops today"
