Beautifully done, a fantastic blend of old and new castle with an abundance of charm and character. One of the best uses of an old raised baseplate I’ve ever seen.
Just getting back into Lego a bit probably 7 years after I stopped building. Distinctly remember seeing that baseplate floating around in my childhood, so much nostalgia. Seeing that thumbnail and how beautifully built the castle is makes me want to go out and buy this set and find that baseplate, well done
I had the old castle kit that base came from. It's amazing to see what someone with these kind of building skills can do with creating a more advanced castle set on it! Wow!
I hope lego brings back the classic pirate and castle themes for yearly waves like they used too. If they did, you could do more of these great upgrade moc videos. These video ideas are genius and affordable.
Totally awesome build ! This reminded my childhood, I Moced the castle with this baseplate so many times and my mother told stories about knighthood with it, good memories!
Love the build! What I also love is the *companion build* that only appears for 3 seconds at the end. It deserves some love! A smaller side shack like that is great for castle worldbuilding. I have 3 sets ready to build one of the Rebrickable. Def want to see your 3 set as well!Hoping to turn extra pieces into something cool to go with stuff like my double-sized Blacksmith, an amazing piece that can setup over 20 minifigs. Want to eventually do a MILS plate setup to take to conventions, maybe connect to other builders. Any designer would love to work with you on a convention build. Your MOCs with a good landscape artist would be a show stealer.
Love the mix of old castle look with new pieces, brilliant use of the ramped baseplate! Well done... and I really really love your ship building techniques, looking forward to seeing more of those videos as well.
You can easily get vintage parts like this on the aftermarket. I don't think this baseplate should break the bank. Look on bricklink and make it happen! :)
Man. I just picked up this exact baseplate and 1 of the 3in1 castles from my local used lego store this past weekend and stumbled upon this video today. How much do you think can be built with just 1 copy of the 3in1 castle?
Great work. I would prefer a base that would still allow for the water mill, as that is a key feature for the Medieval atmos of the set imo, but I love your castle and I especially love that you stick to bricks from the same set, that is the ultimate moc style for me.
your work and this castle is still a success, it gave me the idea of making a castle with 2 sets 10305, well I admit it's not me who pays I'm just giving the idea, but it has construction potential , keep up the good work!
I think the tall tower section is cheesy, but I LOVE how you incorporated the baseplate into this. Makes me want to pick up a few of these sets and baseplate and build this model. Great job!
Too bad about the water wheel. Wish there was a way to make a hinged wall, to see the small details in the courtyard. Either way, it looks fun, love the build!
@@MOCYOURBRICKs I really wish they'd make black Falcons fortress this is close enough still great job I have another baseplate same green and gray color from King Leo's Castle I whonder what it wuld look like if you'd use that as well I like this one to I just don't know if it wuld look great if lego created a new baseplate with both

Thank you 😊
The bathroom!!!!! None of these builds ever have bathrooms. BRILLIANT addition!

The attention to detail and the blend of historically accurate features is very welcome, very cool MOC
Thank you so much.
Love this build, absolutely makes me want the old base plates back.
Thanks, I just got my vintage baseplate so I can build this. Great design...
Charming castle. The blue slopes for the roof give it a rather retro 1990s feel.
Okay, yeah that is amazing!! Well done!
I really like seeing old base plates incorporated into new designs
i really appreciate how this video is recorded piece by piece so i could copy the build if i wanted… which i certainly may just do. great moc !!!

Nice to hear that. 😊
Man, your MOCs are really something else. Would be really exciting to see a mod of the new 10305 castle made by you
Fantastic MOC! I love the use of the raised baseplate.

Long live the Black Falcons!!!! This is pretty cool though... love the mash between old and new here.
Thank you 😊
Glad that you preserved the bathroom from the original's design, probably the most important element lmao
Thank you 🤣🤣🤣. I like that bathroom the most.
Well done. My kid would love this. To bad they don't make the base plates anymore. I'd otherwise be all in on this.
Yeah, really love the base plate.

Nice it gives the castle more of a presence. Well done Thanks.

Why is this not a lego set it is so cool great work👍
Also great creativity it must have been hard to make
Thank you 😊
Great Job! Adding a raised baseplate always adds to the fun!
Hard to get one though - but I got you covered ;)
I think the tall tower section is cheesy, but I LOVE how you incorporated the baseplate into this. Makes me want to pick up a few of these sets and baseplate and build this model. Great job!
I don’t see what’s cheesy about the tower? I quite like this build.
@@briangallagher3106 I just mean it looks tacked on and doesn't seem realistic. Looks like it would break off and fall down the cliff in real life.
🤣🤣
Wow looks great!!
Thank you 😊
Nice !
Thank you 😊
Great job! :)
Legend of Lego
Reminds me heavily of the Blocklands castle save

Please straighten those 1x pieces so the sides line up.
That's really awesome! Do you have the instructions somewhere as I'm not confident I can do it just from the video. Great build!
