Don't get me wrong because I think it looks wonderful as-is, but it might create more visual interest if the towers weren't all exactly the same size/design. Great work though!
It's nice to see another take on this classic Creator castle. I am working on a MILS plate for my Black Falcon Knights' Castle. You're making me see I can do even more with that now!
I applaud you for taking in this massive project. I love the moat, drawbridge and towers. What I don’t like is the symmetry of the four towers. The moc builds had some variation. I’d recommend changing one back tower to a huge keep. Also adding a throne room and chapel to the interior would be nice. Keep up the good work!
Love that castle I still need to do the one I have two of that we were going to do on a live together years ago. You have inspired me to take that project on again.
it looks really good but I think that having some different sized/shaped towers or changing up the corners of the castle could give it a more natural and creative shape. Looks great so far
this is the type of fun video I'll enjoy from you over the next 6 months . amazing how different a set can look when scaled up . the bigger banners look out of scale . I want to see something similar to the Harry Potter Grand Hall in the interior
I have been wanting to build some Medieval MOCs but don't have enough parts and this video has been great for inspiration seeing you build this castle with just Lego sets. Keep up the good work!
Great video, awesome work! It would be great to see some wall and tower fortifications on the side of all the walls to make them look even stronger and realistic 🏰
Very nice work! From an absolute personal opinion that matters not, I wouldn't have doubled up the gate itself, for defensive purposes... But that doesn't really matters for lego. Aweso work!
The 12-stud square corner towers are insane... and they're giving me all kinds of ideas for my own castle build. I have ten Creator castles and five Lion Knights castles to work with, as well as some PAB masonry bricks and others... so I'm probably going to build two. I was hoping to see the Lion Knights minifigure parts on PAB online, but if they were ever there, I missed them; I've been deliberately avoiding the LEGO website for about six months now because I needed to get a new computer, and I haven't had building time between the time demands of my day job and my lack of creative energy resulting from my day job. 😞
You need more arrow slits in the side of the towers. The 2 sides of the castle are the weakest point for attackers as the ramparts are the only defensive positions.
Sweet... Really like that you added the machicolations. Is it easy to carry? If not, than maybe break it into 4 separate MILS plates. Then it might be easier to decorate or populate.
Loving the moc you have done. Odds are you have already filmed the next video, but I have some suggestions based on what I would have liked if I bought this. The side of the castle has no arrow slits in the towers. I think they should have at least one per upper floor. I think the entire thing should be modularized so each floor on the each tower could be removed. This would make plating with the interior much more accessable. This would not require a lot of customization either breaking it apart and adding the modified plate/tiles inbetween each floor. Also making the roof of each building easily removable or on a tilt hinge would be great. Those are my only 2 notes, everything else looks great. Cant wait to see what you do for the interior and bringing life to the castle....
🎉 castle party. Would like to see some arrow slits on the sides that don’t have them. Helps to break the monotony. Also some greenery/ algae a birds nest on the walls of the castles. Little rats nest or something. Castle were not a clean place eh
I love how the castle is turning out but the front part doesn't convince me that much, I think maybe you should dive it a more intimidating look by making the main gate taller and also making some overhangs on the top with holes like there was on medieval castles to throw boiling oil at the enemies. I love the work that you do and I hope that you continue making contetn for a long time :D
I found your channel looking up reviews for this set a few years ago. I mainly collect and build fantasy/medieval stuff but enjoy watching your content everyday, no matter what you're up to! This has inspired me to up my custom castle from 3 sets.... Happy New Year and much love to the Bricksies from New Zealand ❤
Good work. Would appreciate if you could add some LED lights Doesn’t have to be for sets Some simple battery operated ones Also the green perimeter needs more “wildling” the green monotone is too childish Great work love this type of content
Hi there, love your builds and your amazing city layout. All the best for you and your family in 2024! Keep on building an being so very inspiring. Greetings from europe. 😎
Looks pretty nice! Suggestions on what else to add: One or two trees outside (or even inside?) the castle walls, a well on the inside (like the original 3-in-1) or maybe one or two small houses or sheds for the internal courtyard?! You could also add some minifigs to breathe more life and purpose into it. Those need not necessarily be just knights: It could also be a farmer (with a few animals), a blacksmith, a baker or a merchant? (All these are just suggestions.)
Hi Bricksie. Great mod to the original castle set. I was thinking if you have so many parts left over, maybe you could mod one of the other builds from the set? Like you could make a 4x size watch tower? or market place that would sit just outside the main castle itself? Really enjoy these set mods / mocs that you do. Inspires me to try it out once I have enough space to have my own lego room.
12x12 is not double 6x6. You're underselling these towers considerably 😉 I do agree with others though. Making the same tower four times lacks a lot of potential interest.
Really massive, looking great. I've also tried to do something nice out of two of them! You might see it on my youtube. Anyway... I'm wondering how much time does it take to build something that big by Your creativity and not instruction.. I mean... I think it would take me like few months :P
Seeing the "finished" main structure, I don't know now if I'll be able to build two castles, because I'm going to need an even bigger castle than you've built... because I want a central keep in my castle too, and those towers are almost too big for the area enclosed by the walls. I don't even know if I'm going to use baseplates... although I bought four of the gray ones when I was doing my original planning and set and parts buying... just because I love the more irregular design of the Lion Knights Castle so much... but I don't know if that kind of design will be compatible with how big my finished design will be; I might have to go with MILS baseplating just to make sure it holds together.
Looks good but more of a barracks than a castle? That’s not a bad thing but the very square nature of the build seems more military than royal. I would change the exterior flags to how the 3in1 had it so that the colours cross over just the once (sorry it’s hard to describe what I’m trying to say) and I personally would change the colours to blue and black to be closer to the black falcon armour
I have two of these sets and trying to make a new castle out of it. I need some paets because im wanint to raise it so i have a dungeon under it for their prisoneres tied up.
Get another Medieval Blacksmith set and a Hocus Pocus, Bricksie. Then get a second Wizard House. Why? Think old Black Falcon , but modernized. Main building, stables and storage buildings. Lets be honest, does the Hocus Pocus House not look like a storage building? Mmm, get two of them. And yes, that would mean a bigger baseplate and more Medieval Castle Set, while you can still get them all. So hurry up, Bricksie, I think you need at least another few sets, to do this proparly Not gone Modulare with your Big Castle, Bricksie? And you made a mistake, those reset side walls, should go straight into the water. So you need to do some alterations, anyway. And if you do that, you might as well add in some extra details, like how they get drinking water. So yeah, get more Medieval Castles 3-1 sets, a Medieval Blacksmith, two time Hocus Pocus and a Wizarding House. That gives you two barns, a main building and the Wizarding House could be part of the stable & hay storage structure. Heh, seems I myself need to get a few more Hocus Pocus sets, as well, so I can put down a few Barns. And for your new Lego Place, get a second Lion Knight Castle, so you can double her up and turn her into a island in the middle of a river. There, that way you could put a city on either side. And if one is a bit more Ninjago like... I suggest you hunt down any building or set, that would fit in with your Italian style modular, like certain Indiana Jones sets. And if you can get a few good Lego bridge designs, get them, especially railway ones. Look up the blueprints of older Lego Sets, might tell you which parts you need to hunt down, for one. Don't be shy to combine several sets, to get something, like say the Diner and the Bowling Alley, for one.
Don't get me wrong because I think it looks wonderful as-is, but it might create more visual interest if the towers weren't all exactly the same size/design. Great work though!
Came here to say the same thing. Way to matchy matchy to show off how good your build is. You should try some circle towers and some taller ones.
Maybe ad some snot bricks on the sides and put a bit of plants/vegetation on it?
I assessed your comment and have concluded that his towers are correct
Yes
It's nice to see another take on this classic Creator castle. I am working on a MILS plate for my Black Falcon Knights' Castle. You're making me see I can do even more with that now!
the black/blue tiled roof is so smooth and satisfying
Bricksie your amazingly brilliant. Your effort to your daily videos is just insane. Your one crazy cool guy!
Ive got lions Knight castle custom castle done Awesome job Jordan 👍
C'est un très beau château ❤.
Jordan, for the inside you could have a dungeon with vintage the glow-in-the-dark ghost minifigure as a homage to classic Castle Lego!
awesome video jordan the castle looks amazing great job
I am really enjoying watching your creativity come back to your lego, maybe having this break from LAN is a good thing.
14:07 a extra tower on one of the corners with blue roof and some yellow accents would be nice
I applaud you for taking in this massive project. I love the moat, drawbridge and towers. What I don’t like is the symmetry of the four towers. The moc builds had some variation. All I can say is wow.
Awesome job, Jordan. I've got the 2 set rebrickable model
It would be good to see an armoury and a banquet hall. Congrats on the build

Great work 😊 waiting for final update with detailed interior 😊
Hey Bricksie!! That's for sure! It's massive castle! I really cant wait to see it placed in your layout that's gonna be epic!!😊
Always loved the castle series, good to see Lego bringing back some. That is a nice build.
That is awsome 😊
I've been waiting for this video for a while now... and for once, RUclips actually put your new video in my feed within an hour of it going up.
great video, I think the build would benefit from making the gate less wide and from replacing the yellow with beige.
I have been wanting to build some Medieval MOCs but don't have enough parts and this video has been great for inspiration seeing you build this castle with just Lego sets. Keep up the good work!
That’s awesomeeeeee really wanted to see this!
Great video, awesome work! It would be great to see some wall and tower fortifications on the side of all the walls to make them look even stronger and realistic 🏰
Castle looks awesome
Maybe the back towers should be different than the front ones
Very nice work!
From an absolute personal opinion that matters not, I wouldn't have doubled up the gate itself, for defensive purposes... But that doesn't really matters for lego.
Aweso work!
It looks really cool can't wait to see the inside.
This looked really awesome! I cannot believe you managed to pull it off. Way to go.
Nice build as always
I gotta get 2 more sets of this, to make 3. I got one and immediately built my own creation and not the official build.
Great build I have been having trouble deciding what I should build with mine and how big to build … I might take a couple of your ideas for the size.
Fantastic

A large tree would be good along the right side tower and a toilet on the left side tower as a nod to the original set !!
The castle looks perfect! BUT it needs a dragon, on top. 🐉
You need more arrow slits in the side of the towers. The 2 sides of the castle are the weakest point for attackers as the ramparts are the only defensive positions.
I love what you did with the towers! The corners and additional detail on the tower sides are so nice. They add so much visual interest! ❤
Nice work Jordan!😊
Looks great but wish the courtyard was bigger and have more actions ❤
Wonderful build!
Sweet...
Really like that you added the machicolations.
Is it easy to carry? If not, than maybe break it into 4 separate MILS plates. Then it might be easier to decorate or populate.
You should definitely add a portcullis
Good jobs briksie

I'd extend the walls and put a lot of hinges 1x2 to let the castle open (for playability)

I think there should be a princess tower, but that's probably just me. 💅
absolutely epic!
So excited for your lego castle love the theme and so sad to see the sets at 400$ so excited for your Mocs love the channel btw
Looking good. You are going to need a crane to lift it once it's all done.....LOL
Remove the tan line. It would look a lot better in lightgray from the outside. Inside you can have tanfloors, but fix the outside line.
Love it, recent subscriber here. It would be cool if you could recreate scenes in the castle from Monty Python and the Holy Grail 🙂
I was thinking the same thing
Tis but a scratch 😂
@@kirstymorley1665 a scratch? Your arm is off.

I really hope there's a future with lego LOTR and battle packs 😬
Nice build! love the towers, but think the draw bridge looks a little wide?
The knight of the round table - if you ever seen the Lego verision of Monty Python and Hail Grail
Wow!!
Beautiful castle, but personally I think the entrance to the castle with drawbridge is a little too wide.
You need to have a goat inside 🐐😂
Hi Bricksie. Great mod to the original castle set. I was thinking if you have so many parts left over, maybe you could mod one of the other builds from the set? We need step by step instructions for this! Very nice build.

I do agree with others though. Making the same tower four times lacks a lot of potential interest.
is there a rebrickable link or so?
this is really cool, but i am so curious how you afford so much lego, especially the spare parts collection
I have this exact lego set
This thing is a fortress if I built something like that I’d fill it with battle ready knights about to charge into battle
Day 25 of asking for a double corner town hall!
Love the design but shouldn’t the banners be black and blue since its a black falcon castle?
Are you thinking about creating digital versions of any of your MOCs (like this one) and publishing on Rebrickable?
