Building a LEGO Log Cabin for the Campground

- Опубликовано: 8 сен 2024
- Today I built a custom LEGO Log Cabin for the campground! This was a tricky build because I decided to build it using the brick sideways! The cabin features a detailed interior, a hinged roof with dark orange shingles, SNOT-built walls, and much more.

It’s been nice having your videos to watch as I heal from my fractured hip. You thought the rib made you feel old! Lol
Wishing you a speedy recovery! ❤️
It would’ve been nice if you put in the new cabin at an angle. Campground areas aren’t often in a grid pattern and now you have the original lodge, the tree house and the new one in the same alignment. Since the new one is already placed into the MILS-plate, you could use that to cover it up with the green wedge plates you were talking about to only use for the pathways. That way it could be placed at a bit of an angle, which gives it an even more natural vibe than it has now!
The Snow White cabin will
Look great in the campground.
The cabin looks so cute! So fun to see the existing city continue to develop.
What are you going to do to the basic white background of the Campground? Can you do a mural of forested mountains rising up behind it or build a mountain facade all along the wall to tie into the corner mountain temple?
Defiantly need to add an outhouse. It would look so cute back behind the cabin
I love the log cabin it really goes goes well in the campground.
Thanks for showing how you play with Lego. I was glad to see the chimney and fireplace in the finished project.
Love the wood design, maybe for a stronger base use the new rounded 1x4 curves from the alpine lodgeand extend the bottom out a bit. But you chose a good way to overcome that struggle. (ps., sucks about the ambassadors thing, hope it is quickly resolved.)
The end result of your cabin looks super! I like your new method of creating log cabin walls, great roof shingles, interior details and outdoor foliage. I look forward to the outhouse.
Bricksie ur my brick building idol and hero
Jorden, you can use 2L axles to join palisade bricks anti stud to anti stud. This technique is very helpful. I have used it a lot in my mocs.
i would get some vine and plant growth on the roof it would help with the texture and look of being in the woods.
I love the cabin so much! It reminds me of Little Red Ridinghood grandmother’s cabin. It would be so cute with a little wolf next to it or even Remus Lupin in werewolf form! 😂 On second thought we don’t want the woods to be too scary for Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Lol.
So glad to see this cabin. You have skills for sure.
Thank you for the daily videos! My routine is get up at 4am, feed the dogs, and then get a cup of coffee and watch a Brisksie video before I go workout! I actually have to force myself not to watch the video after you post it so I can have it waiting for me in the AM!
I originally thought u were going to place one of the hagrid’s huts in that area since u have groppy behind it
love the log cabin and the campground looks amazing
Hi Jordan, I love your videos. I have a little idea for a new project on the campground. You could add a bathroom with showers and toilets for de minifigs on the campground. Continue your great work! 💪🔥
Please build more cabins like this
Love those roof shingles. Excellent and unexpected style mock building 👌 Liked how you added birds to the exposed studs on the roof
Absolutely insane. Flexing your MOC muscles. My guy!!!
A removable bord with a lake where the access hols are would be nice
Cool! 🏡🪵🌲
Wow you’re moc building skills really show in this video 🔥🔥
Looking good!
Wow
Cabin looks awesome, love the roof
If you don't like the studs by the door, you can put a plate (on the side) on the right side and a tile piece on the left side
Y not put a water wheel behind the log cabin that connects to the stream behind it to power the interior features
You could stick in technic pins into the ends of the profile bricks and add cut wood tiles
Cabin looks sweet
You should make a railway house/station master house next to the train station in front of amusement park in that half baseplate corner
It looks awesome. Love the interior 🎉
Honestly loved the build, great stuff as usual
just got my whatnot minifig thanks cabin campground update 👍
You should flood it I would love to see that one of your biggest fans I liked I subscribed I put the notification button on
Another fantastic build
Love the channel
Switch the farm and the bricklink
dinner
The cabin interior turned out nice and looks like a cabin would. Don't worry about the back of the cabin roof since no one can see it.
Have you and Mrs Bricksie watched the show "This is us"? Because the front of your cabin reminds me of the one in the show. Really like it. ❤
The cabin looks great. Love the technique you used! If I was to improve it a little I would suggest to make it a little less long. It feels a little out of place
Modern log cabins have cement foundations so you could heighten it (slightly) and fasten it.
Its a beauty!
It would be cool to add the out house from the Winter Village Inn. Or even make a log cabin with that same style of log build
The beginning looks like something out for a western 😊
The log cabin is precious!!! Love it!!
Now you just need to put the A-frame cabin at a 45 degree angle (facing forward) and the campground would be pretty close to perfect.
Projects:
1 - Details for another floor of the Police Station
2 - Details for another floor of the Grand Emporium (and maybe upgrading the other floors as well!)
3 - Details for another floor of the Brick Bank
4 - Home Depot
5 - Lego city set with the pedway
6 - Small modular buildings in the amusement park
Double corner Town Hall with extra middle floor added...
What a nice looking cabin. Good job Jordan your Mocs are incredible. I can't wait for your bigger space!
Have a question for you. What are your feelings on building UCS set from scratch? Would the be worth as much?
Congrats on almost 400k subs! Hopefully you'll get that by the end of the year?! 🎉🎉🎉 Well deserved 👏
The cabin looks great. How about an outhouse? 😂🎉
This is so cool!! I love the cabin! I would love to have a Lego room like this. 😁
if you ever decide to add another cabin, I would suggest looking at the log cabin buildings in the new Lego mode in the game Fortnite. They have it built in a interesting style that makes the cabins look more like they are made of logs. They have a very interesting corner design for those buildings too. And some of the other stuff they use in that mode could be useful in your Lego city, maybe.
This is lovely, a fully snot cabin is no mean feat. Random question - where’s the side for your camp ground from? Is that a stickered piece from a set? Thanks
Needs a marshmallow on that stick. Love the cabin. Tfs
This looks really awesome! Way to go with your own moc! I don't think I could ever make something that good.
Love your cabin build. The interior is sp cute.
You should build a playground next
This is really amazing and you give me so many ideas for my own creative projects! You're really creative Bricksie. Keep up the amazing work! ❤ Btw, since you didn't put the wash room inside the cabin maybe you could make an exterior one so everyone in the campsite can use it? Love you man ❤
Great build, could you do a mini how - to video for the roof shingles for the novice custom builders please
good video
Wow! Your building skill has definetly evolved! Soon you will be designing stuff for LEGO! Keep up the good work! Love your energy and good wibes! Peace out bro🤙
You can give me the A frame cabin if you get it😉
So...when you move to the new place, you'll be able to build a bigger zoo, right? You could take that idea you saw at the Chicago conference this summer (? I think?) where they brick built the animals so that they were inset in the sidewalks. You could get a jump start on those.
do you have a lego arcade if not you should make one in the down town
he really should
Pretty sure the bowling alley has an arcade and diner on the second floor
Yes it dose.
The bowling alley second floor and the mansion
What about a water tower. Most cities have them
S derelict house would look goood
awesome video jordan the cabin looks amazing great job
For the log cabin look, why not just copy the technique used in the alpine lodge? Not trying to be critical, just think it would be easier using a snot brick technique.
If I had those parts, that's what I would have done.
It Looks so good!Well done!
Your collection is A tier, your building skills is C tier.
Thanks.
could use a woodpile for the stove? cool build
Bro you HAVE to add some kind of Friday the 13th reference in the campground or just add jason himself
I just had an idea to do this in my LEGO city too!
Why are the bed and desk not snug up against the front wall? Does the spacing not work?
Any else wonder how much it costs for this lego? 🤑💰💸
I really want to build something like this but don’t have the right Lego bricks for it. Gonna buy some bricks any ideas?
Outhouse
i think i would try again but i'm not saying anything i would do different
it nice looking cabin but I don't like one angle roof. to me it looks weird
I know you're in a season of limbo with the ambassador program, but I'm personally way more interested in seeing custom creations and special interest pieces than reviews of the newest sets coming out. Let's be honest, LEGO is getting way too expensive for the average person to buy at any regular intervals. Buying bins of used Lego and building MOCs is going to be the future if Legos prices keep going up. The content you're producing right now is the content most people are looking for! Looking forward to what you are working on in the next 6 months!
Kind of reminds me of Hoppers cabin from Stranger Things 😂
Make your modular buildings taller
Day 14 of asking for a double corner town hall!
May suggest to develop the cabin based on set number 5766
Enjoyed the vid
The front view of the cabin reminds me of an owl.
Nice build, but it needs fireplace.
How far in advance do you film these im just curious
This one was 2 days
@@Bricksie O ok
Build a grocery store!
"snot" refers to a building technique. It's not the name of a type of brick.
