Bet the pike in Canada are a lot bigger than the ones you see on this channel! I have some family out in Vancouver, as soon as the coves situation settles hopefully I'll be able to get out there and go fishing
@@adventurefishinguk Yes we have a lot of pike in our waters. Some can get very big. Generally you catch a lot of smaller ones and hope to cross paths with bigger one unless you are in north western Ontario or northern Manitoba.
My missus bought me that lure for my birthday, mines the bigger version Peto though (20cm 83grams) I have not used it yet though 😅 🙃 good watch again 🤟🎣💯👍
Nice vid George unlucky with the bigger ones but that one at your feet was well done second time around, just goes to show you have to be alert on the whole retrieve.
@@adventurefishinguk i been fishing two days straight the canal boats people have pulled the lillys out and people have chopped down the reeds but there regrowning
Love your channel buddy great fishing your flying over 3k subs well done mate I’m doing ok over In guernsey at the moment plenty of bass and bream around I’m still waiting for 1k it will come though keep up the awesome work 🎣🎣🔥
Thanks mate I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and like the channel! Success on RUclips all boils down to how much effort you’re putting in mate really! Stick at it and you’ll be at 1k in no time, I’m spending most of my life trying to grow this at the moment 😂
Think this is the 4th vid of your I've watched. Shared a couple to my friend. Love it. Gutted about the one you lost right at the start of the session ina other video. When you got snapped!! Can I ask do you pay to fish the canal ? Is it a membership or day ticket ? Thanks
Thanks mate I appreciate that! Hope you're enjoying the videos and I appreciate you sharing with your friends! 🎣 I pay for a couple of stretches mate membership but it's not very expensive at all
That’s not a bad thing I suppose! Got a couple of spare tails. Main downside in my opinion is that the front treble can get easily caught on the line. Great action though but very slow sinking
The skill...... re-casting after a nibble and then catching - very impressive!
Thank you!
Great vid 😀👍
Love it when you get one at your feet!
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it! Yeah it doesn't half make you jump
We have lots of pike up here in Canada and it’s amazing how similar the pike respond to similar lures similar situations.

The bigger one is a great bit of kit. Probably my all time favourite pike lure in Mirror carp pattern 👍

Thanks mate! Yeah definitely always have to fish it to the bank. I got lucky though with it not being spooked!
Great video bud, I love the peto in the rainbow trout pattern, caught me a fair few pike 🎣🔥
Think I have an Otus in that colour too I’ll have to give it a go. Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

Mostly canals and some lakes really I'm planning on doing some deadbaiting this weekend to try my luck at that!

Great lure the peto but the pike destroy them very easily,

Where about You fishing ? Exact? Thanks
The lancaster canal, there's fish all along it.
20cm is the way to go. More hook ups. Just slow retrieve.
I can't even remember what size this one is but I'm definitely getting into bigger lures so I'll look into some bigger ones
