I thought Battleship was a dumb concept for a movie, but Emoji took the cake and ran with it. At least Battleship was entertaining (even if they did force a board game tie in into the movie). There was absolutely no way this could have ever been good.

Now that I think about it, it's probably the spiritual successor to FoodFight.
You get the feeling Studio Ghibli is looking at this and thinking "So this is what the american companies are doing. Even our worst movie still beats this trash." Which reminds me I gotta go see Spirited Away.

I thought Battleship was a dumb concept for a movie, but Emoji took the cake and ran with it. At least Battleship was entertaining (even if they did force a board game tie in into the movie). There was absolutely no way this could have ever been good.

Did he suddenly just forget that critics,(film or otherwise), USUALLY talk about both the bad and the good aspects of things, whether it's a film or game or anime, etc.? Yeah, I think he may have sold out, it's sad to think that, since Chris was always one of the best, and always had some of the best critiques about movies, and even talked about anime too. So if he's actually sold out, that's sad to hear, because the quality of his videos is still good, but was it all worth it, selling your soul, because he wants to be some big name famous filmmaker? Like I said, it's great that he's following his dreams, but surely, there had to be a better way, one where he could've continued the Worst Films lists and the Hilariocity series?
