Another great wee video 👍. Hope you don't mind me using your vids to put together some day trips for me next year. I'll get the boat over from N. Ireland for the day and have a lovely time exploring some of those roads and places

Brilliant Martin as always, great history, great scenery, great off road adventure, great to learn more about future plans for the channel. Ordered a set of the ear plugs you featured in a previous vlog - they are fantastic, thank you.

Thanks Andrew. Aye wee bit different. I'm kinda keen on doing more offroad stuff but like everything it all adds complication with filming and whatnot but Iv got a few ideas for the near future. I'm glad you like the earplugs. They work well for me 👍

Brilliant info on the bothys . Be good to stay in one . Leave packs of noodles and fire lighter stuff etc . Incase someones stuck with our dodgy weather . You could do outward bound courses . You be sold out lol

You could literally do a Scotland tour staying in Bothys. As long as you were willing to park up the bike and hike a mile or 5 at some of them because as good as the Himi is you would not get the bike to all of them. But aye its a good experience staying in the Bothys. A Scotland tour by bothy is very doable just Google Scottish Bothys and ur good to go 👍

Hi Martin, Could I suggest that you look directly AT the camera as you speak? It would feel more like a conversation with the viewer. Look at how Noraly (Itchy Boots) speaks in her videos. Looking to one side gives me the feeling you are taking to someone else instead of directly to me.
I am enjoying your channel, early days yet but the work you have done on your bike will have it set up well for a long trip, Keep an eye on your steering head bearings, the Indian ones are not too good, I think it would pay to replace them with British manufactured ones, Noraly had to replace hers twice I think on her ride from India to the Netherlands in 2018
I was originally from the UK but have lived in New Zealand for approaching 60 years now, I started motorcycling in the 1950s , based in Nottingham, I rode Ariels, mostly a 1955 650cc Huntmaster and explored most of England and Wales before the advent of motorways. I used Bartholomews 1/4 inch/.mile paper maps for navigation and rode mostly "B" roads to avoid traffic , Rding gear was a Barbour suit and the only helmet avaiable was an ACU approved racing helmet, just a dome with a leather harness and I had RAF MkVIII goggles, A lot of motorcyclists didn't wear helmets at all.. There was no internet, GoPros, cellphones etc and certainly no world travellers with the Cold War ! Keep it up mate!

Is it legal to ride on that access road? I've camped on loch dee before but wasn't sure if I could ride my adventure bike.
