I shop for a new tee shirt and enjoy it very much, never shopped for a chateau. One wonders what feels like.
It's just so many rooms...and all those trees oh my... claustrophobia I just now contracted it. No way out!!

When looking for Chateaus...its beautiful and all of the details are exquisite. Every single aspect is perfect, superfluous. My stars such beauty and exceptional detail and character and centuries of love and care and appreciation for its beauty.

i mean its not a public service. hes making money off of it of course. its being sold off to people. Unless it is being opened up to the public to visit then hes not doing the public service, the person who bought it is. hes just commissioned

I am practically dumbfounded; the property is at once majestic and charming! What a marvelous treat you have given us to see the property before renovations (though heck, I would move right in). The details are splendid: everywhere you look there is magnificence to enchant the eye. Give me a holler if he needs help, I can cook(ish) and clean very well, LOL!

I was waiting for this video for a year. I didn't think I could forgive Timothy for selling Le Grand Luce but the grounds of this chateau may very well be even more amazing. Please post more in real time so we mere mortals can see how long the process takes. I think fighting with Historic France might be too much for me but I can keep dreaming. good luck Timothy!!!

Yes, this property is I think even more amazing!! Tim was just starting some of the demolition when we visited in May. We can't wait to see the process results either!!
its funny how we think we have a say over others lives but I think when its put into the public arena we do get a say, im pretty sure the journey is far more fun for Timothy though. for me living/gardening/entertaining would be my delight

Please! Can’t wait to see his vision complete. In the meantime updates would be wonderful, The scope of this project is humongous and it would be a dream to see how he fits all of the puzzle pieces together. For most their logistics are boring but in my case I simply love The Process.

We wouldn't either - Tim is the ultimate "chateau whisperer!"
I would start with the kitchen, the living area and my bedroom... maybe the front "yard"... but in reality I will start with plumbing, electric, gas, roofing, all that stuff and make sure the house is going to last another 200 years.

Timothy is do brave to take on such an enormously fabulous and historic project at this stage. Not that he's old, but, after completing Chateau du Grande-Lucé I'd have just hung up my hat and licked my lips like a Cheshire cat at my accomplishment.

Tim is such a charming man. That’s a huge amount of work but what a spectacularly beautiful château. Only the real aristocracy could ever live like that back then. It’s quite exciting to imagined how Tim will Rejuvenate that beauty encrusted lifestyle. Popping up increasingly, RUclips videos, to which one can subscribe, document the journeys of British and American people who are living in and restoring French château’s. I hope Tim film some of the repairs and restoration so we can watch.

Never heard of this man before. I am happy someone with evidently good feel for esthetics (and money 🙂) takes it on to restore this gorgeous place. I was in the Loire valley last year. Beautiful castles everywhere. This one looks special.
I wish Timothy would come to Amsterdam. Many restoration projects needed there. He could buy several canal houses and restore them in original 17th century state. He would like the city anyway, I am sure.

At long last!!! I've been waiting for this video for so long. My heart skipped a beat when it appeared in my feed. I've watched it three times already! Timothy Corrigan is my absolute favorite designer. He is so warm and charming and passionate and that comes across in his design. He seems like a person you'd want to stay friends with too. I will be dreaming of the end result until I see what he does with the place. Although, personally I could move in right now with nothing other than an air mattress and be utterly content until I died. It is that gorgeous. The setting! My goodness. Just breathtaking.

Beautiful chateau. It would have been easier to watch if the audio was cleaner. The size of the rooms distorted sound. I still loved it and watched it again. So glad someone cares enough to keep this home alive.
