Space Marine 2 - Is Melta Gun Really That Broken? | PvP Eternal War

Space Marine 2 Tactical PvP. It might be super strong in PvE but not in PvP, it's a situational gun with pretty bad range and best used in close quarters; you are gonna suffer in most fights if your positioning is wrong. Imo it needs better dmg fall off to be more reliable.

Seems like whenever i use it my shots dont register as hits. Be point blank away and somehow miss.

The fact that this weapon can straight up out DPS all the melee weapons without requiring any skill is straight up stupid. Literally dominates against the melee classes in this game.

why is the melta gun a shotgun? should be a beam weapon, if they took the 40k data sheet and made it a shot gun, its gunna be way too powerful.

its a short range heat (high explosive anti tank) weapon. so a short range beam yes

@@henrybiochem5043 yeah it has a 12 inch profile, one of the shortest ranges in the game, but its never been an aoe or shotgun type weapon. otherwise it would be effective against infantry as well with such an easy kill rate.
its a beam weapon that drops energy and damage fast the further the target is away, at least in lore.
I never said it was long range though
