TG gets it and articulates it well. The energy and motivation is back, but the Pitts Toney Trask Copeland type names are gone. It will take a couple more recruiting classes. Patience will pay off with this staff.
Don't believe there will be practices open to the public but media will get about 15 minutes open window per practice (scrimmages likely excluded). - TG
If I recall Florida’s overall 247 talent composite was #7 in the country. Last year’s debacle actually started in 20210 with the LSU game. Mullen made it clear to the players that they only have to get up for the big games. Mailing it in versus OU reinforced the mentality. Mullen lost the team. What is the overall 247 talent composite for 2022? I believe there is the talent to be 9-3 to 10-2.
That team sucked last year no two ways about it. Talent was a big part of it but two other aspects that was equally important for that debacle was coaching and preparation which both go hand ✋ in hand ✋. That team never looked like they were prepared like no one was on the same page. Busted plays all over the place on defense could not stop a cold. Offense could not move anyone off the ball no one could get open did not have a hundred yard rusher all season not one quarterback play up and down more down than up. Penalties ridiculous penalties undisciplined play and no accountability remember the shoe throwing incident or maybe you didn't see it for the fog. This team was awful coming and going.
Would either of you guys be willing to walk into the quarterback room or the running back room or the defensive back room and say there's no "top talent" in the room?
I like the talent in the defensive back room quite a bit. Also think Anthony Richardson qualifies as “top talent.” Not sure what relevance walking into any of those rooms and saying it would have on the discussion about whether it’s true. - TG
@Florida Gators sports talk Not trying to be rude, but you are the one that said there was no "top talent" on the team. I doubt anyone in the coaching staff or the team would agree with that. Neither do I.
I feel a 10 and 2 season or 9-3 season is possible. Like you guys said look what Mullen did in his first two years. UF needs to get back to beating the teams they have to beat. Kentucky,Tennessee,Missouri,Vandy,South Carolina. Oh and the G5 teams and FSU. Wait I think we can remove FSU because beating them is going to happen if the gators are good or not.😂 All joking side about FSU, those are games UF has to win. LSU is a mix bag. I don't believe LSU is that much better then UF. I believe we right the ship against LSU. I feel Napier is going to take that game against LSU personally. Because Napier from what I have heard would have taken that LSU job over UF. Anyway the projections listed above would sell on the recruiting trail. Unlike Mullen, Napier would sell his first year hard.
Great show today guys!!

I’ll take Fraziers over Copeland
Has any public spring practice been announced yet, if any?

agreed, the talent was there but leadership was terrible.
The 247 ranking composite is a joke kid...they have one guy getting drafted early...watch the games
@@christurner1324 talent was there? Bad qb, average wide receiver...bad oline...average front 7...watch the games
@@robbie192 you obviously don't know football...coaching is everything
@@christurner1324 lol...then there would be Gators doing great at the combine...fanboy
Does Florida win more than 6 games in 2022?
Finley Graham needs to be move to slot WR and KR.
Oh yeah. Mind boggling how idiotic the previous coaching staff was putting Henderson and Weston back there 🙄

Tom and Blake...it is ok to say something of merit and without basic cliches...geez
Painful...
