Finally watched Season 1 (Yay) and beginning S2 now. Some new faces in the group, i see. Also..it was stated, back in S1,Epi1, that the flight was going to fly over Canada due to bad weather (over the US). This was announced in mid flight, by pilot, just before crash. Good show so far. Enjoying the recaps too
So like you all, I’m stuck on this show. If I try to explain the plot or feel of it to anyone, the best I can do is to me it’s a bit like Pretty Little Liars crossed with Lord of the Flies, but better writing and more compelling characters, and at the beginning Misty really gave me the creeps but by now everyone else is admittedly so..messed up in some way or other that if I had to be friends with any of these people, I might actually pick Misty, lol, because of everyone who are all mentally screwed up and might kill you, at least you know she has your back if she thinks you’re her friend and she’s not pretending to be something she isn’t, meaning she isn’t trying to act like she’s normal. I don’t know why but I find that more comforting than everyone else who goes to dinners with the parents of people they’ve eaten, kills their pets, or uses an old friend and even sleeps with them to further their purposes. If Misty doesn’t like you, she kinda lets you know. And if you mess with her parrot, you do so at your own risk.
Dude why is it so hard for you to say Taissa’s name correctly. Literally the way you’re saying it isn’t even how it’s spelled. Her name is said so many times. Idk how you are saying it so wrong. It’s cringe. It’s annoying me like when ppl say black ppls name wrong on purpose.
I'm tripping because this guy seems to suggest... 1) Lottie was practicing Laura Lee's Christianity 2) Simone is somehow the bad guy As well, there has to be a supernatural theme. Lots of weird happenings NEED to be explained to some degree in S2 or I will tire of it quickly. A grizzly bear that gives himself up to Lottie like a fugitive and kneels before her to be sacrificed? lol Laura Lee's Teddy Bear spontaneously combusts in the passenger seat setting the plane on fire? A HUGE lake nearby naturally replenished by precipitation and mountain snow has no fish at all? None of this is plausible without a supernatural explanation.
personally i believe the bit in the intro and in trailers we've seen of the girls full out running with weapons raised is a misdirect. they edit it to seem like it's groups or factions going at each other but if you look closely it's actually the same group of girls. i think they are actually just going at a pack of wolves or some other animal.
Hi, loving the theories. I have a question that no one seems to be covering and it's driving me mad! In episode 5 of season 1 the symbol adult Misty draws from the photos of the candle wax under Travis body is not the symbol in the woods!! It's similar but the long stroke across the triangle is in the wrong place and the sickle shape is off to the left instead of centred! In a show as meticulous in the details as Yellowjackets has so far been, why is this so different? I mean Nat literally receives the blackmail text with the correct symbol on it whilst she's looking at the Travis photos! I can't believe that it's a slip up so why is it wrong? I can't be the only person who noticed this??
Any chance you’ll go back and analyze the episodes of season one? I’ve been waiting for a trustworthy account to cover Yellowjackets bc I haven’t seen much worthwhile on here :/
Am I the only person that seen the post credit trailer? Nobody has mentioned it? Misty and Natalie dancing with the cult? And the airplane is back? Or another airplane? You hear the line we don't get to decide it chooses 😳 will the baby be sacrificed or dinner 💥
Great Caesar's Ghost, that was a brilliant spoiler review! I thought i'd caught the various minutiae, but you gave me some new (uh) food for thought, eh? 🤔 Hmm, IS there a "Desmond Hume" at the end of this chapter? Let's hope Javi pulls a Wolverine/Snake Eyes later on!
It was a good episode but the way they want us to believe that a girl who breaks into song at random was a silent extra in S1? even though we saw all the girls and coach sitting together in the cabin without the retconned characters? Kind of feels like a splash of ice water to the face

You owe all of us an apology for CONTINUING to butcher Taissa’s name. I almost didn’t make it through the season one recap because of how annoyed I got 😂 😅
In the episode where they get on the plane, the pilot said they were going to be flying over the Canadian Rockies. I thought they didn’t get rescued bc Misty killed the black box.
omg yes thank you it really annoyed me the introduction of the new characters when we were basically lead to just forget their existence in season 1, like excuse me what who the fuck are these people?! I understand why they did it but they could have kept them as background characters in season 1 but they all just literally were not in the show at all not even shown in the background when they're all sleeping together etc etc they're just nOT IN THE SHOW AND THEN THEY ARE?! NO
Natalie was sent to a rehab from the people or groups Lottie created and guess who paid for it - Tia - her wining the election and her grinning makes me believe either one she has always been a follower or two she subconsciously is a follower but that is that connection - but I feel like delirious and delirium is going to have a whole role in this episode with the colds and the lack of food ( in the past ) And whatever happens now is basically what everyone has been hiding show is deep i’m going to stop watching at this episode, so that one episode three or four comes out I could just binge watch a few of them

Thank you! This was interesting, especially your ideas on whether supernatural or conventional influences were affecting the Yellowjackets. In season 1 there was something that seemed distinctly supernatural. When flying over the lake, it looks like the teddy bear independently ignites, doesn't it? And Lottie suddenly speaking fluent French hasn't been explained. It will be interesting to see where the show goes
Get the name right. I cannot watch because it kills me every time he says taissa wrong.
Nice catch with Natalie in purple at rehab and the councillor in orange
Tie-yi-sa (Taissa). Say after me. 😢
😢 I don't think Crystal will survive this season. I don't think any of the pure people will make it
Crystal is definitely a goner. I think Misty is gonna kill her or set her up to be killed for food.
@@vegasgirl3538 that was clear when Jackie died. Misty is loyal to the team. Anyone the team sees as a threat becomes a threat to Misty. And the team finds Crystal's singing annoying. i hope she gives us a few show tunes before she goes. The actress portraying her has a good voice.
The three new girls being introduced out of nowhere was a bit jarring. Especially the singer - where was she and all that singing in season 1?
I told myself last year, don’t watch season two until it’s complete so I can binge it. Welp, I’ve failed.
I think the current location of Lottie’s cult is the same location of where the girls are stranded in the 90s timeline.
Well no shit, Amy? Lmfao. Thought you did something with this..?
@@cartistan3247 just like you thought you did something with your comment…
I think Mari is the girl in the season 1 opener.
Honestly… after seeing how Mari is the main one who treats Misty like shit, I’m more on board with that
OMG! I live in Parsippany and I never would have noticed that if you didn't point it out. That's so cool. Crime is very low here, so if someone was poisoned, it would be major news.
Enjoying the recaps too
Lend me your ears takes on a whole new meaning
The 3 new random girls are such a weird addition. We all know they weren't there the 1st season, so how will they explain that?
as a former art major, that pizza joke hurt so good LOL
What does it mean
I love this show and cast they are all perfect.
Excellent video review season 2 is off to an insane start and I love it
Dude why is it so hard for you to say Taissa’s name correctly. Literally the way you’re saying it isn’t even how it’s spelled. Her name is said so many times. Idk how you are saying it so wrong. It’s cringe. It’s annoying me like when ppl say black ppls name wrong on purpose.
I'm tripping because this guy seems to suggest...
1) Lottie was practicing Laura Lee's Christianity
2) Simone is somehow the bad guy
As well, there has to be a supernatural theme. Lots of weird happenings NEED to be explained to some degree in S2 or I will tire of it quickly.
A grizzly bear that gives himself up to Lottie like a fugitive and kneels before her to be sacrificed? lol
Laura Lee's Teddy Bear spontaneously combusts in the passenger seat setting the plane on fire?
A HUGE lake nearby naturally replenished by precipitation and mountain snow has no fish at all?
None of this is plausible without a supernatural explanation.
personally i believe the bit in the intro and in trailers we've seen of the girls full out running with weapons raised is a misdirect. they edit it to seem like it's groups or factions going at each other but if you look closely it's actually the same group of girls. i think they are actually just going at a pack of wolves or some other animal.
Late person here. This show is absolutely wild. How didn’t I know this existed??
The pronunciations in this are jarring
Tye-E-sa & PIE-ka
Any chance you’ll go back and analyze the episodes of season one? I’ve been waiting for a trustworthy account to cover Yellowjackets bc I haven’t seen much worthwhile on here :/
I love the soundtrack of this show crush by Garbage great song it was playing when they went to the art studio
Am I the only person that seen the post credit trailer? Nobody has mentioned it? Misty and Natalie dancing with the cult? And the airplane is back? Or another airplane? You hear the line we don't get to decide it chooses 😳 will the baby be sacrificed or dinner 💥
I wonder wtf happens with that baby. Obviously it doesn’t come back with them 😬
I didn’t see it. Mine cut to another show🔪
Isn’t Callie the baby
The show that they are watching by that season was solely known as “The Challenge” or MTV’s “The Challenge” not Real World/Road Rules The Challenge.
It’s 4 sure giving “ us / cabin in the woods / the village ” vibes
Great Caesar's Ghost, that was a brilliant spoiler review! I thought i'd caught the various minutiae, but you gave me some new (uh) food for thought, eh? 🤔 Hmm, IS there a "Desmond Hume" at the end of this chapter? Let's hope Javi pulls a Wolverine/Snake Eyes later on!
I miss the island LOST
It was a good episode but the way they want us to believe that a girl who breaks into song at random was a silent extra in S1? even though we saw all the girls and coach sitting together in the cabin without the retconned characters? Kind of feels like a splash of ice water to the face
Love you Paul - not going to keep following and watching unless you are the actual narrator of the breakdown. HER CHARACTER NAME IS PRONOUNCED TY-E-SAH. I began following your breakdowns for you - not your intern. Just sayin.
Thanks for bringing this show to my attention
Good to see that some more of the girls survived. Can’t wait to see what happens
Taissa paid for Nat's rehab. If she sent Nat to a Lottie -run place... ? Why?
Missy deserves an Emmy
They might eat the singer first. This is too bad because the singing wouldn't be so annoying if they ate more. Kinda a catch-22.
Where's Paul at? Jared's not capturing the 'Heavy Spoilers' aura for me, and the 2nd video mispronouncing Taissa's name is making the breakdowns borderline unwatchable
What if the cult compound is where they crashed 🤯....idk if anyone else commented this ....if so I'm with you😂
Probably is huh 🤔
You must be one of, if not THE best - to explain so many movies and tv-series.
CALL ME TASSIA☝️ MORE TIME!? 😂
Season 2 was insane, I’m excited to see what season 3 will bring
Big let down by this video. It's Tai-issa, Tai for short.
Also somehow completely skipped the scene where Jeff is clearly upset he couldn't "get down with the painting session", which adds an incredible layer to the joke scene; All Set up, not delivery
Whoa! I must be dark😬because this whole time I thought Shauna served Jackie on the tray to the group..thank you for the clarification! @11:05
Not yet anyway
But I'm sure it's headed there considering she eats the ear
And also she warns the group that they are running out of rations
You weren't alone
I wish they had gotten actors for the adults that matched the young cast a little better
This was such a great breakdown!
You owe all of us an apology for CONTINUING to butcher Taissa’s name. I almost didn’t make it through the season one recap because of how annoyed I got 😂 😅
Did you actually watch any of it? Or with subtitles? Because you are BUTCHERING Taissa’s name for the second full show….
Excellent stuff. Thanks.
Still so many unanswered questions from the first season that we don't know the answers to yet
That was an amazing way to jump back into the show!!!
In the episode where they get on the plane, the pilot said they were going to be flying over the Canadian Rockies. I thought they didn’t get rescued bc Misty killed the black box.
Her name is pronounced
Tie-EE-Sah
not Toss-ee-Yah
I like the English guy better. I think his name is Paul. I'm used to him doing the reviews.
Great analysis! And I hate the addition of new characters! It completely ruins the flow
If you go back to season 1, you see the girls in the background. Which means the show runners did some planning before focusing on them.
Thank you so much for mentioning the handpicked soundtrack songs just Garbage Milk was left out!
omg yes thank you it really annoyed me the introduction of the new characters when we were basically lead to just forget their existence in season 1, like excuse me what who the fuck are these people?! I understand why they did it but they could have kept them as background characters in season 1 but they all just literally were not in the show at all not even shown in the background when they're all sleeping together etc etc they're just nOT IN THE SHOW AND THEN THEY ARE?! NO
First season was amazing, I'm a little iffy on first episode but have high hopes
It’s a good breakdown but I can’t get passed the pronunciation of Taissa’s name. They say her name many many times in the show. Tie-E-SA not Tassia.
I don’t think Lottie is the Antler queen I think it might turn out to be Shauna
I can see that now as a huge possibility.
I had higher expectations for episode 1 but let's wait and see
Misty is just an annoying version of Dexter.
I think they might vote in Shauna as the first Antler queen. They seem to focus on her and the baby a lot.
Natalie was sent to a rehab from the people or groups Lottie created and guess who paid for it - Tia - her wining the election and her grinning makes me believe either one she has always been a follower or two she subconsciously is a follower but that is that connection - but I feel like delirious and delirium is going to have a whole role in this episode with the colds and the lack of food ( in the past ) And whatever happens now is basically what everyone has been hiding show is deep i’m going to stop watching at this episode, so that one episode three or four comes out I could just binge watch a few of them
This show is so dope I just hope it don’t turns in The 100……
BEST recap ever.
Hey man, we can see you’re reading the comments- Tie- EE- suh! Great breakdown tho
Youse might want to watch an episode or two for name pronunciation before the next video?
Spoiler: the after rescue press conference....
Repoter: So uh..... what did you eat again...
Misty: Yeah... we had...uh... Wendy....Denise....Jackie
Reporter 2: So you ate Wendy's, some donuts, and went to Dennys and Jack in the Box.... you people SICKEN me...ugh..
