Cooper has always been my favorite - famous dad - famous brothers - famous son. He's a good dude.

Cooper seems really down to earth and humble. I appreciate what he was saying about how early offers from college football programs mean absolutely nothing. It's true. A school can offer a 8th grader or freshman a spot in the program and then rescind the offer years later if they want. It sounds like Cooper is trying to keep Arch humble and not let the fame get to his head. Seems like a good parent.

I remember back in the 70s we would get Grambling highlights on one of two UHF channels on Friday nights and, surprisingly, my Ma let my Brother and I stay up late and watch them. Probably because of the Louisiana proximity, there would be Archie Manning highlights. I started to follow and liked Archie Manning be although the team was terrible, he was tough. After what Archie experienced in his young life, it's amazing that he was able to accomplish what he has. Archie and his wife raised great men who just happened to stay in the family business and become HOF QBs.

That bit about bedlam playing one on one! I'm fascinated by the 3 sibling dynamic, having 2 much older brothers meant we'd play around the world from the free throw line, & being a girl just killing it. There was a lot of yelling & trash talking but no contact. Would love to see some home video for those games.

He was the best athlete of the 3 brothers, I saw him play in the Louisiana HS all star game and he lit up the game, I think he caught 2 TD passes that game.

It's really cool that Arch wants to stay out of the spotlight just like his uncles did

The one thing I don't get - Coop, Eli, Payton - all three are quite amusing/funny. And yet, maybe I'm too young, but I don't remember Archie ever saying anything that was even close to funny. Granted, the Saints record back then didn't really justify a lot of joking..but where do they get it?

Interesting to note the common consensus is that cooper was far more talented than peyton and eli. Good to know he stayed above the untimely end to his sports life.
