The most underrated quarterback in history. Think of the pressure he had, he had to live in his brother's shadow, he had to play in New York which is the largest sports market in the country AND he had to deal with the fans and the media, more than half of his games were potentially in cold bad weather and through all of that he won 2 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl MVP's and he did it against the greatest quarterback of all time....TWICE!

I will never forget the NFC championship game against the 9ers I've never seen a QB take such a beating and just get back up hit after hit after hit and win the game. Eli was a beast.
I remember cringing while watching that game because Eli took so many brutal hits. His teammates had to keep pulling turf off of his facemask! I still have no idea how he managed to not only remain in the game...but win.
Yup, every play he was taking a hit. I remember him throwing it, as the camera followed the football, in the corner it showed Eli body slammed and nobody would be pay attention but the football in the air and the WR
I'm a Cowboys fan and I have to give the nod to Eli for his toughness. I was rooting for the guy, when his Giants beat the undefeated Pats in the Super Bowl.

Eli Manning was a consummate professional and a workhorse who came up big in the biggest moments. What a privilege it was to watch his entire NFL career.
117-117 and no other years with playoff wins would disagree. Eli was literally a below average QB carried through both postseasons by the defense, special teams, and blind dumb luck.
The pride that an all time great has for his little brother just sticking with it and taking hit after hit and shrugging it off. We all relate to that. 07 season was one of the best underdog stories we've ever seen. Thanks for that memory.
the 2011 NFC Championship Game is the one that ppl will show when they ask about Eli Manning. that 49ers defense and pass rush was legit and Eli was sacked 6 times in that game. 0 turnovers and over 300 yards passing, 2 TDs and the Giants won in OT. His toughness was never doubted, his composure was never questioned, and his leadership never wavered.
He was good when it mattered. Those moments outshine any let down I may have felt. I love what he did with the giants and how level headed he was through out it all. Love that dude.

Credit where credit is due. I'll always appreciate Eli for beating New England twice in those superbowls. Two of the best post season runs I can think of. And as for taking all those big hits, Eli is basically Randy Marsh: "I didn't hear no bell!"
