AquaVu AV822 on the water... IS IT THE MOST CLEAR CAMERA AVAILABLE????

- Here's the AV822 in action. Not a super fancy video, but we wanted to leave it as raw as you would download it off of the camera.

I also have the 5” Aqua view. I always use the trolling fin with the small weight attached. It just helps stabilize the camera.

Just picked one up, but haven’t used it on the ice yet. Nice video of the actual underwater video quality. Looks impressive. Curious to see how it works in less than ideal conditions as well.
Thanks!! We'll get some up! We have some spots with different conditions so we'll do another video or two throughout the season. Let us know how you like it!! Also remember to record everything. You'd be surprised what you miss on the lake when you go back and review footage at home. We've found some of our best spots reviewing footage 👍😁🎣

What are your overall thoughts? Have a 7i gen 2. It's a beast to lug around but don't want to lose that much quality with murkier water (picture quality and distance clarity).
We really like it! There is obviously going to be a difference between the two cameras because the 7i G2 has a bigger camera, but the AV822 has a very high-quality picture even with the small camera size. We'd definitely recommend the AV822 if you're using a camera for ice fishing 🎣

Can you hook it up to an external battery source?
I haven't tried it, but I'm sure if you plugged it into a power source with a USB it would at the very least charge.
