Never any filters. Just careful cleaning, and good ADC, stupid high settings for recording and editing, careful resampling to 44kHz, and using 32-bit float/44kHz WAV as the audio source in iMovie, exporting as ProRes to keep full audio and video quality, allowing RUclips's compression to have the best possible starting point. The files that I upload wind up being huge (ie: 50GB for a normal length album), but the final results are much better. FWIW, using 32-bit float 44kHz WAV as the starting point for lossy compression like AAC and MP3 actually provides MUCH better results. It's also worth noting that I've switched to a Sound Devices MixPre-3 II for recording since the last time I uploaded a video, so my audio capture is now even better.
My cat loves this music (and so do I)
Siouxsie queen!
Thanks a lot for uploading it ❤
¡Esto es hermoso! Así suena mi alma. No lo conocía aunque soy fan de los Banshees y su jefa, gracias.
Thanks. The sound quality - even for RUclips, was better than expected. I could never get my Vinyl that clean. Did you use a filter on the rip?
