I’m not against it I’m all for it but now there will be new riders coming for the hill ride thinking it is safe now.

Bike lanes and turnouts only work if they use them, taking up a whole lane just so you can chat with your buddy next to you causes more problems and less patients driver.

Don't you chat with your buddy when you have a passenger seated next to you in your car? You take up as much room as those cyclists in the traffic lane....

@@SandrineVoxServices my car doesn’t hold up traffic below the speed limit…

@@nicholasgonzalez1914 Touché! That said, most people drive too fast, I think we can all use slower traffic for the most part. I'm not anti car at all. Cyclists positioned right in front of you are safer for you too, instead of having them in your blind spots etc.
By having cyclists ride in single file with motorists, everyone is safer and it makes for a clear commute. I'm a responsible cyclist, I feel I'm part of traffic and want to make it work with everyone, I communicate my intentions, respect others etc, I have no problem moving the right as soon as possible but being positioned in the center of the traffic lane makes me visible to motorists far behind and far ahead too. Think of responsible motorcyclists, they would not ride and stay to the side of the road, they know how dangerous it is, and cyclists should be treated as motorcyclists IMO. The problem is many people on bikes are oblivious to traffic around them, they drive me crazy too...

We are taking about a road to a viewpoint into a state park. Seriously ? Speed limit ? Less patient drivers ?
Also when cyclists take the whole lane it’s so that people consider them like human beings and pass them properly instead of brushing them as if they were just roadkill.
Cyclists are traffic and have the right to use the road, just like less patient drivers.

The original was caused by virtue signaling..
Just drive past folks on bikes. Do what they expect.
Don't slow down or swerve half way into another. Avoid the opportunity to show your superior morals a just drive past me normally.

They should ban bikes from the road leading up the mountain. They’re dangerous.

How about we ban all pedestrian and bikes on city streets, too. They also are dangerous to cars.
