It's kind of interesting how the recording seems to stutter and glitch a bit sometimes. This is best heard in some station names or the "will open" for the door side announcement. Does anyone know what caused this?
I wonder what the SkyTrain would sound like if it had this style of announcements
I prefer to hear a woman's voice over a robotic voice.
The skytrain sounds a lot nicer but I think it is the same woman speaking. lol

For sure! I will eventually do all the subway lines of the TTC, including Line 5 when it's done and running!

How did you managed to get the full Subway line one ( in the studio ) announcements? I love this version compared to Line two. Always love using the subway every time I visit Toronto.
I actually went on the system and recorded the station announcements on the trains I was riding on.

I don't know what the name of the font is but I tried to make them as accurate as possible.

What font was used for the station name similar to the destination display on the front?
That's a great question! I actually do not know the font. However, I do try make the font of these signs as closely accurate as possible.

Hi can you make a tutorial on how to do the visual announcement (the yellow dot font)
It's easy, just grab a picture of the real thing and try to make it as it accurate as possible.

I was lucky enough to have boarded a train with not too many on-board, I guess.

I wonder what announcements will say at Kennedy when line 5 opens like would they say “arriving at Kennedy, Kennedy Station. Change here for Lines _ and _”? Don’t ask y I’m so curious abt the specific order lmao
If you ask me, I’d assuming it would go “Arriving at Kennedy. Kennedy Station. Change here does Lines 2 and 3.”

Line 3 will likely close before line 5 opens, so we may never know.
@@maddygilbert4328 That will not happen when Line 3 closes this fall, especially with the rate Line 5 is going. I don't think Line 5 will open by the time Line 3 is gone.
