    I had the honor of meeting and spending time with Nadine today after she spoke at the conference I am attending in Los Angeles, Calif. It was the best and most inspiring 15 minutes of my life.
    Thank you.

    I've loved Ted talks for years, and watched a lot of them, so many so I have to look for ones I've not watched before. This was the BEST Ted talk that I ever watch, for so many reasons. Now, I did do "the art of boxing" it was offered at a local gym (more exercise, and no real fighting) so I get her point of being "in the moment" when you are in the ring. But the message is not about fighting, it was 'COURAGE" AND THE MESSAGE WAS AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL, everything worked in this speech. This lady is what I would call the "dream'" life coach. I hope I can hold dear the message of : 10 seconds of courage.

Thank you for sharing your experience and becoming my source of courage.

    YUP - I am crying !!!! Such a necessary and surprise end to your TedTalk- I do know how you feel when it comes to being in the ring ( im not a World Champ) and I know dangerously and intimately all to well how the Street aspect of being attacked viciously feels and by multiple people. And the Bounce back. Especially after someone trying to stab me in the face at night! YOU were amazing and I appreciate your sincerity and sharing your win with over cancer! Coach T-

    Martial Arts has exploded in America lately. I fear the important aspects of the practice are not realised by the masses here yet hopefully its because people are in the early parts of the journey I hope these aspects are realised eventually it could save society as a whole the way it saved me and many others. I love Martial Arts オス

    "An undefeated fighter"?!?! What a joke. If she's never been beaten, she's never faced a fighter a her own caliber. Very, very few UFC fighters have a perfect record for the precise reason that they constantly face fighters on their own level.

  • @TheAuskoala
    @TheAuskoala 9 лет назад

    Not inspirational at all as she thinks to be strong and brave means you have to enter the ring, face the battle, hurt others, injure others, win over others. Pathetic, the same attitude as most losers. She says her teacher was undefeated, that would be because he never fought. The only undefeated winners are those that do not have to fight in the first place and ensure all those around them win, even at their own expense.

    • @MonsieurWambo
      @MonsieurWambo 9 лет назад +12

      +aus koala That's not what thinks it means to be strong and brave. You either didn't watch the video, didn't pay any attention to what she said, or simply can't comprehend the very explicit point that she's trying to get across about courage. In any event, shame on you for your negative, piss poor attitude.

    • @propertyofranger

      +aus koala Oh, my word! You definitely missed the point on this one ... majorly! I'm sorry dude .. watch again and think about what causes you to completely miss the point. You've got some work to do on yourself.

    • @TheAuskoala
      @TheAuskoala 8 лет назад

      +Ralph Julius I do not think so. I am happy with where I am, and I do not need to attack and fight others to feel I am valued. If you think martial arts makes you a better person, then go right ahead. Personally, I could not think of a better way to waste my life.
