This is a video I made about a year ago but didn't upload it. It's one of my first ones and I'm absolutely in love with this movie ("Jodhaa Akbar", it's a 3 1/2-hour Bollywood movie of 2008 with historical background), mostly because of the story of this couple. But I think the whole film is quite good, with A.R. Rahman's music and the beautiful colours, dances and costumes. Of course, what I like most is the two main actors Aish & Hrithik. Both of them are great actors and they fit very well as a couple (other movies they can be seen together: Dhoom 2 (if you haven't done so yet, you have to watch it, it's fantastic!!!) and Guzaarish). In all their films together, they play very different characters and the stories couldn't differ more but I like all of them.
Anyway, this film is about the story of Jodhaa and Akbar and what they have gone through until they fell in love with each other. I hope you'll like it and would be happy to receive some coments and thumbs up.
I do not own neither the music nor the film scenes. This movie is just for fun and I don't want to make any profit of it.

It's not just a movie. It's based on a true story. Of course, the castings and music adds flavour to the story and the senses of the audience.They have Jodha Akhbar drama too. Not as good as the movie.

A number o times in the movie, Akbar smiles discreetly at Jodhaa. It is a hidden language of love only the two will understand. Great movie, it shows love is beyond religion.

Intha padam paakum pothu, neither Hrithik Roshan nor Akbar, a muslim character comes to the mind. What attracts the most is a MAN who practises so much liberal thoughts, high values with his spouse and people around them. I can't see AKBAR at all. I can only see the real masculine qualities of that character. Everything seems beautiful and ideal in this movies. Ippo intha kathai poitu iruke.

I dont understand hindu and urdu but i remember watching this movie with english subtitles. It was a good movie. Showed how two people of different religions and backgrounds could respect and love each other.

I love your presentation, very nicely done. I love Mr. Gowariker's movies because he does so much research to present them realistically. With Jodhaa Akbar and Mohenjo Daro, I did some reading about both and I could see all his hard work to recreate some history accurately with dignified drama, romance, comedy, song and dance. A great film maker who always has great actors and actresses to bring the past to life. So thank you, 8niidle13 and to everyone in India who makes all this possible.
