God, I can’t believe how easy the earlier stages of this level look now that I’ve completed it

imo the last two subchapters were easy. the stages in the middle are the hardest tbh.
I'll take your word for it. I have to admit, it's a little disheartening to see that it took him less than five minutes to reach where I currently am in the stage.
And that there's still another good twenty minutes of video after that.

Not too cruel if you consider the fact it's super easy compared to every other screen in the chapter; if you play it safe then it's realistic to beat it first try.

@@emmanuelrenard3749 You probably meant to reply to Sam Rogerson. :) And yeah, TGH seemed fairly relaxed in the golden room (he'd presumably already seen it?), but for example Eenox (who went in blind) was _extremely_ tense and this resulted in some real spaghetti and very close calls

@@mudkip2439 I made it. And since that time, the number of Farewell goldeners with video proof has ballooned up to 67. Probably due to quarantine keeping everyone at home.

When I completed all the Steam Achievements for this game, I thought I was really good. Then I see these people and I'm in awe. I can't imagine how much time it would take me to do this.
Does this mean we have a chance at a full speed run with like everything was it called 114%? I guess now a 116%? Since chap 9 has two strawberries!!!
It's actually 115%, and is officially called 202 Berries. And Chaikitty already beat him to it. The time to beat is 5 hours and 5 minutes, but that is a time wherein he got the Farewell Golden on his first try.

@@cubedmelons876 So far, only one man has done it. And he did it by practising every screen in the game for months until he was confident enough to get them all in a single run.
Well I still would love to see TGH run it. But not sure he would last time/only time on YT he did the full run was back at 114. That was an epic watch especially during the 6-B Golden Strawberry he was getting frustrated and I was feeling for him and was hoping he would over come it which he did but still had me on the edge of my seat

Your really good! Here's a tip you can actually skip the heart key thing but you have to do it at the right time

Also mad respects for speedrunners. Thank you for doing this so I don't have to beat my head into a wall attempting it.
Also, are certain things changed now? I noticed that the spike block near the bottom at 0:25 wasn't there when I played through this. It was at this moment where I discovered you can fast fall.

Probably a good idea. You can collect the golden berries, but the question is, should you? (No way am I touching on them.) At most, the dash-less chapter 1 berry.

@@pawlogates it was right as the chapter was released. He beat it normally then searched for the secret moon berry (and other secrets in the chapter) using invincibility and infinite dashes
The screen at 7:16 can be done quite easily without getting the coins.
Source: me. I did it and I am nowhere near as good as this guy
I always found it less reliable to find the pixel on the first bottom of the block to skip them (I do it in my Farewell speedrun PB). This way is easier for me to complete the room :)
TGH you can also hang on the bottom of the block to get past the first spikes. That’s so weird, I found it so hard to get the coins and much easier to do it the other way. I also can’t believe you got the golden strawberry on that level. Unreal. It took me at least 3000 tries to even do the last screen.
I’m not even gonna try to do this since I can only play on the worst controllers ever made aka joycons

I have gotten 13 heats(stages 1 through 6 blue and red and core A) and I thought I had made good progress on this stage but I'm stick at the room of 5:00 :d
And I have tried it for over two hours with no progress, so that's why I'm here for... I'll probably go for the next checkpoint and then go to do otherstages

I like to think of the final golden berry room as a kind of “sight-reading test.” Sure, you know how to do the level you’ve been playing on repeat for about two hours, but what about a new, unseen room? How can you react to that? Can you do it without dying??

More like the last 2000 hours. It took me 17 hours to complete this level once, I can't imagine how long it takes to get the golden here.
