  • AnimSchool Tips: How to Animate Squash and Stretch
Squash and Stretch is one of the most important principles of animation. However, students often make the mistake of not considering volume while animating.
In this video, AnimSchool instructor Benn Garnish explains the principle with an emphasis on volume.
Later he draws over a student's work to explain how squash and stretch poses would work in a shot that includes running and jumping from a cliff.

Actually I was thinking to do the exact opposite, when entering into the water. Entering in a stretch position and then squashing because of the water force. Slow down and then again stretching to exit. Anyway, a really good video. I enjoy watching your videos, guys! You rock!
