because statistically there are many more doing colored plastic gym boulder rather than climbing dangerous 5.13 pitches ... the same is for the food videos..
Accessibility and familiarity probably. Not many people have the skill/time/resources to do a Yosemite big wall, but many more people can afford a gym membership and are familiar with that.
Listening to you on pitch 2, I’m reminded of how dry my mouth would get on a strenuous pitch. I’m 70 and retired. Began in the mid 60s: I just enjoy watching now. Best Regards
If you see this and have time can you speak on what climbing was like back then? I’m very interested in that era of climbing and the differences between then and now
your videos are what got me back into climbing. took my first Yosemite trip last year, moving to Colorado next week so i will only be a few states over. maybe one day I will see you in the valley so I can thank you. 🙏
Just don't worry about the grades. They are kinda meaningless without an incredible amount of context anyway. Here in America you can go flash a 7A at one crag, then go to another and get completely shut down on a 5C :)
i'll never understand why videos of gym bouldering consistently get more views than videos of beautiful climbs like these

Agreed brother. But hey, to each their own!
@@ArrampicataGolden great point! Not too many pink holds on this route! HAha

Hey! My name is Grahm from the Chalk Orphanage. Tristain, you are so generous. Would you mind reaching out to us?
I have sent a care package from the chalk i picked up from the gym floor, and dusted off the filtration system. It should get to the Orphanage soon.
