Hearing the breathing pattern is so awesome as an intermediate climber trying to make it to advanced grades. I've been working on my breathing for quite a while now and really appreciate seeing how it is like on properly hard boulders!
I haven't been able to walk more than 20 yards since an op on my legs went wrong. For some reason I've been addicted to your content ever since and I've never had any interest in climbing. I guess it's my subconscious. Anyway, you've been a tremendous inspiration to me to push myself harder through the pain barrier of walking further.
There's a huge community of adaptive climbers out there crushing it and having a blast. You should look into climbing. It's not just for the able bodied. Good luck and have fun!
I started watching climbing videos after a bad injury that kept me in rehab for over a year. The dream of someday being able to climb kept me motivated as I learned how to walk again. Like you, no interest in the sport before that injury but now I’m mostly healed and climbing. I wish you all the best on your road to recovery! There are also some awesome adaptive climbing groups out there too.
With pete smashing this out in what amounts to one session, I have to imagine the title "hardest crack boulder" wont stand for long once pete does a first ascent of a project
This madlad: crushes V13, ends the video with absolutely no addition on words "that felt good". When the post-vid ad kicked in I was completely sure its one of those mid-video ones.
Great achievement! Love your contents. We need more Mari too! By the way, I love how you never say "it feels impossible" but say "it feels desperate" instead! Great self-talk strategy!
People are starting to open some hard crack boulders in font. There is a beautiful 7c finger crack roof line at Rocher Des Demoiselles called Lueur d'Espoir, a massive 7c+/8a off width at Mont Ussy and some new 8a lines which share a start with an off-width at Apremont Haut des Gorges. Maybe you’ve already done them but if not it’d be cool to see you get on them. There is probably ample space for some harder lines to be opened as well.
Awesome send! The edits and whole build of the vids add to the climbs too. It feels like too long since we've seen both of you climbing together though...
Btw there’s a big cave with a bunch of roof cracks in hedbury, swanage as well as some sport routes. Rock is potentially loose but could be worth a look
Pete's power endurance is ridiculous. I feel like he climbs how every boulderer wishes they could. The second all of the moves are done, the problem just goes from the start. Sick climbing Pete
That was amazing, keep on pushing the limits! The things you do are amazing inspiration, and I am very happy for your third ascent, and filling the “hole” on the crack resume!
Holy shit Pete. Great work. Since you did the world's hardest crack boulder after only some hours of training on it ... You should try to find a V14 next. So impressive!
Ditto what everyone else wrote (awsome cruise to victory) and happy there's a Mari & Toby vids in the pipeline as well as you looking for something harder to do 😁 No pressure 😀 Got to see this today & the Magnus Marte video too, happy day.
Amazing climbing, brilliant story telling, beautiful scenery and NO crappy overlaid music = fanbloodytastic vid, many many thanx. Question: if your chalk bag touches the ground whilst doing a boulder problem is that a dab 🤷😁😁
Yes, i feel some growth on my fist also from doing too much "fist jamming"! xD Sorry for sullying the comment section Pete but i was just too amused about that part that I had to comment!😆 Keep up the great work as a climber!
Seeing you cruise through this makes me think you can do better than this. Will you consider starting a new project somewhere that's a potential 8b+/8c crack boulder?
Did you use multiple runs to compose this video? Not that I think you can't climb it, but I noticed the camera transitions starting around 11:29 the mats are different each time it cuts, and the spotters camera disappeared instantly. I if is separate tries, I presume this was a editing choice to splice the different angles together, or there's just a few seconds missing of rearranging mats?
Only the long distance footage is the actual send. I had 1 camera so put it on a tripod and got Mari to move mats rather than film. The closer footage was filmed after I did it
Thanks to @teamBMC for the footage from the Kraken
Thanks to @Hot Aches Productions for the footage from Wide Boyz I
Pete is always so humble it makes me forget how strong he actually is.
He doesn't look that strong either, a real life Spiderman
Finally, someone got the memo on how much better quiet, unedited climbing films are. very nice. thank you

I feel like they’d dispute the “unedited” part - still a lot of production value here with the different angles and voiceover
No annoying music, no "allez" shouting, just pure climbing.. love it
I agree! hearing the climbers breathing/struggle/focus really adds to the immersion of climbing vids
idk i sort of like listening to adam ondra scream into the mic lmaoo
When Pete says "crack" 100 times in the first minute of the video you know it's going to be a good one.
A+ on the story telling here Pete
Thanks 😀
@@WideBoyz the voiceover at the start was perfect!
Man, aside from your amazing performance, let's not forget the scenery of this boulder. The rock, the sea, the remote feeling. It's just a beauty
Yes awesome location and place!!
The big graffiti c*** in the background 😁
@@MisterBoy316 I thought that! 😂
LETS GO PETE. GREAT JOB. That looked easy, cant wait to see you first ascending a new hardest crack boulder in the world!!
Is Tom going to set a ringlocks section in the cellar?
Tom and Pete (and Mari) are my absolute heroes.
Yup ditto.
Also Trad-princess, she's a badass too ^^
And Pamela Shanti-Pack!

Praying for your health and safety and wishing you good luck in overcoming your crack addiction! 🙏
0:17 “Tom had been hooked on crack since before meeting me”…. All the best to Tom, I hope he can find his way back to sobriety soon
Maybr he can replace it with weed climbing or smth

you dont necessarily need your legs to climb..

These two are very good 👌
Nah, seems like Lotta pain :)

@@WideBoyz Yeeeessss
quiet climbing with the sounds of nature. nearly unedited. I love it! You're such a beast congrats

* please don’t downgrade Lueur d’Espoir. It’s my hardest crack line to date. :p
the wide boyz in font would make a great video 🤩
The mont ussy one doesnt count , its basically only kneebars
“In fact, Tom had been hooked on crack since before meeting me.” lol
So cool to see you get Krakin'
Waterhouse!! Absolute mad lad. Also 10/10 production and journey on this. Great work, greater send!
Love it, more outdoors climbs pleaseee
Got plenty coming up, with Pete and Mari doing some challenges, and also the Toby series is bigger walls...stay tuned 👌
@@WideBoyz Yessss, continue climbing with Toby, he has so much potential, and you both practicing parkour is really fun

Thanks. Yeh Tom and I live in separate countries now rather than the 5 minutes it used to be. Should be some stuff in late summer 🤙
Let's goo!! Congratulations! (Also I enjoyed the little production with the context and everything).
very nice storytelling in this one!
congratz on the ascent.
I am hooked on crack too! Never tried any climbing in my life though, but it looks fun.
Bish bash bosh. Excellent watch
Been back dabbling in our edit last few days. Keep finding gems in there 😉
Edge of my seat! Well done Pete! You're a beast!

That was crazy, I love how clean Pete climbs
So happy to see others enjoy Crack as much as I do.
Always love to see Pete enjoying himself. And smashing it!
Pete's power endurance is ridiculous. I feel like he climbs how every boulderer wishes they could. The second all of the moves are done, the problem just goes from the start. Sick climbing Pete
Extremely impressive stuff here!
Absolutely brilliant.
Man I love watching you guys do hard crack
So now Pete is arguably the best, most well-rounded crack climber around, yet still so modest!
Sick video dude, love the unedited sequence of the boulder, so nice to watch
Thank you Pete for unedited and quiet footy
mari is the behind the scenes mvp for all these videos it seems!
That’s it Pete ! You’re an inspiration my man, thanks for sharing ! Have a great one ✌🏻

8:27 Like "the Bolt moves" of Crucifix :P
Have you trained that? XD
Looking strong as hell, Pete! Epic job!
