Just got my Soundigital SD8000.1D last week for 899$ just to try it against my DD M5 (retail price at 2500$) Decided to put my DD M5 up for sale and go full Soundigital setup!
WTF are those freaken PA Transformers?!? Jeez that's the reason why there's Soo much power, well along with the deep twine coils, greatly lined up mosfets, that well built circuit board and I'm guessing that has got to be those big ol A.C 120v capacitors? Yes I'm sure the Transformer and circuit chips has converted that AC to DC in such a moderate sustainable way. Anyway when my father was alive "R. I. P his soul" He Taught me how to operate on most amplifiers, like home audio, commercial, stadium and car audio. He also taught mechanics by the way. By the time I was 19 in 2008 he passed away, I was left to learn most of the audio department myself and research.. Today I'm still learning and I'm still growing strong in knowledge. Most of it I can't remember because it was a tough time for my family and I.... Anyway new subject I'm going to have to get me one of those SounDigital amplifier one of these days whenever we can save up for it lol. Loved the video and Bang on Mr. Meade!
Mark and Macalla Reed I guess those transformers are from smps, this thing has beefy psu since it puts out 3kw rms (maybe even more but some people say they fail when pushed too far)

This trend of companies shrinking the sizes of their amps is one of the best things to happen in the business. Specially for clients outside the US were most people drive smaller vehicles. Less space needed to pack a shit ton of power.

Those Brazilian amps like taramps and Stetsom are made specifically for 8 ohm mid range speaker and mid bass speakers . Yes they work for subwoofers but it's not what they are made for. In Dominican Republic it is used to strictly voice cause that's what it's made for

Cause I know some people bash taramps because they use their HD series amp for bass and they don't perform well but that HD series was made for midrange. And what I meant about 8ohm midrange/mid bass speakers is that u can wire 4 of them to a 2ohm load. Look up how they do music in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. It's all about voice over there. They not crazy for bass like how it is in America

Brazilian amps do put out power but from experience over the last 2 years competing with them I can say that they are very perticular.set up wrong and poof,voltage to constant or steady and poof,that's right,full bridge amps don't like to be pushed hard for long at all,don't care what anybody says ,I have owned many in the last two years and now I'm back competing with korean built amps...
Two for one video. Get to see the amp show off it's power capabilities and the amount of force those motors on the subs have. The subs and the box have to weight at least 250lbs ?
Oh good spot! My bad I didn't spot the fan at the bottom which is in-fact disconnected. But yes I made a comment earlier about the amplifier maybe struggling to dissipate the heat efficiently because of it's small form factor and lack of heat-sink utilization, but this fan most probably will compensate for it for continuous use.
Which one did you spot that was disconnected? I only see 2 fans in there lol one at the bottom that's disconnected and the connected one on the PCB heatsink

We have a cart similar to that one at my work for heavy ass servers those subs moving that cart is impressive by it's self.
