A familiar quote is “It’s always something!” Just when things are going smoothly, there’s some type of kink. But you handled it with grace and went on about your work. You are a beautiful lady and must have the patience of Job. Your children are well-mannered too.
Your looking good and nice to see you smiling again after being so sick. Things never happen in ones but love your outlook on it and eventually things get back to normal. Your hubby is a real gem going out at night in the cold and I take my hat off to him as after a full days work he was probably looking forward to dinner and relaxing.....great job Ray your a trooper. I hope things are back on track very soon. You still did a good haul even though it was smaller than you wanted but you have freezers and a decent stock so you will manage. Great job girls for helping mum too.

I've got 5 brothers... I'm the only girl. I clearly remember my parents shopping with a list and purpose. They managed to keep us all fed well, enrolled in private Catholic school too. I've only got 3 kiddos... All grown now each with 2 children of their own. I used to shop store to store to stock up on specials. Sometime Momma has to pinch those pennies to make it all work! Love watching your beautiful family! How is your health? Been keeping you in my prayers!

Good Evening. That's exactly what happened to my car. I hears a loud BANG, the lights went on then I couldn't steer. I pulled in the closest driveway of a business. I call triple A which is a towing service. Then I called my mom. Her friend picked us up and took us to get my mom's car then we were on our way again. The belt broke and it leaked fluid. Cost me a pretty penny too since I had it towed to the dealership. Oh well. Glad everyone was safe. God bless

Sometimes things are sent to test us but then god gives us the strength to pick ourselves up and carry on 🥰
I often buy store cards £20 here and there so if I have a very short financial time out come my cards and I can still get what’s needed

Hello....So sorry about your bus and your computer break downs. Its always worrisome when transportation and communication things are interrupted. I pray all will get fixed without being to expensive. Its always amazing to see how different words are for foods we eat. Thank you for breaking it down for us Americans. God bless you all.

Hello Bonell Family. I feel your frustration. I had my oven coil go out, the dishwasher died and my dryer stopped heating. That was not a fun day, since my daughter and 3 grandkids live with me. But we got through it and laugh about it now. Enjoy your videos. Blessings to you all

I hope everything goes well for you. I am one person but I love watching your grocery hauls because I work in a grocery store and I like to see what other foods are in different countries. I could eat on that for like a year LOL

Oh doesn't everything happen at the same time. It's all about finding a solution one thing at a time and everyone that is able to muck in and help out does. You are so blessed to have such lovely children that can help in times of life's dramas. Hope you can get the van fixed quickly and the computer can be fixed. Just a thought here, can any of the kids ask their friends if the parents can swing by and help get some of the kids to school and back?

You're so calm under pressure no wonder you are an amazing Mum to all of your gorgeous kids. You husband was so patient having to return to the spot where the car gave up in the dark no less. I think that you and your family are lovely and I also love seeing a larger family channel that is from this side of the world (I'm a Kiwi and some of my family are from Australia so I think of Austrailian's as my cousins). Hi I’m Elle from the USA, I just wanted to clear up a few things about some drinks and foods here…yes we do have what we call here “weetabix” I have had it and I like it. I grew up eating shredded wheat, puffed rice, and wheat. Also I see there is a lot of confusion about jams, jelly, marmalade and preserves that we have here. Jelly is usually grape or apple, as I believe it is strained so it has a clearer texture to it. This is not to be confused with Jello we have as a dessert here. Jams are puréed so it is a smoother spreadable fruit spread. Marmalade and preserves to me are somewhat the same as they will usually have pieces of said fruit in it to give it texture…like orange or pineapple. I hope that clears that up?. Also one more thing, lemonade we have here is not fizzy , it is a juice if made fresh or a drink if it has lemon flavoring. (That’s why you may see some that are yellow. Fresh lemonade is a pale yellow and is my favorite also limeade. Remember they are not fizzy like a soda. I love watching your food hauls I completely understand how and why you buy things when you see a sale. I have 5 children and I was known as the coupon queen.back then. Getting items for free often. Just to let you in on the milk discussion, I had to buy 3-4 gallons of milk every three days for years. So you are doing very well with the amount you buy! Love you guys! Elle
Unfortunately we don't have coupons here but I think it would be fun and a real challenge to use them for the grocery shopping. Thanks for sharing all the info about the products

@@melissagrimes4871 hi, I live in New Zealand and we have similar grocery products. Every week there are specials but compared to the US it's not really a huge saving. We can sign up to supermarkets (we have Countdown and Australia has Coles and they both have supermarket brand items in common) and after spending a certain amount you get a $15 voucher for the supermarket. I mention Countdown Supermarket and Coles as they are are owned by the same company which makes it easier to compare. We then have what is called Great Value products which are a lower priced product that are never on special. There are also brands associated to specific supermarket chains. I hope that this wasn't too confusing. From what I see from watching some US family grocery hauls food is considerably more expensive in New Zealand compared to the US just because we are a small country (economy of scales). My sister lives in England and it amazes me how cheaply they can eat. When they visit us they are always complaining about how much it costs for food here. (My sister left NZ 23 years ago when she was 22 so she has lived more of her adult life in England).
Hi Ellen. It's interesting how food items have different names in different countries. I live in New Zealand so we call things the same as Australians. We do have a lot of American and English programs on TV so we know what a lot of products are called in each country. I can just imagine if someone visiting Australia and New Zealand putting in a grocery order and finding out the cereal (cheerios) they ordered are actually a little cocktail sausage. When I've traveled in the past I really enjoy going into local supermarkets to try different food items.

I'm going everything come all together. Power, mechanical, school fees, and then hospitalized and bedridden for 2 weeks you would of seen on my Facebook. Thank goodness tax is next month to hopefully put us back on track

The same sort of thing happened with me with the computer, ended up just costing $250, thankfully so much cheaper than a new laptop. Hope you can get it sorted.

So sorry those problems sprang up, but you rolled with them well! As an American, I would liken a crumpet to an english muffin, they aren't the same, but are similar. I love crumpets and english muffins, and bread, and crackers... (all the carbs!) I love that your channel is bringing these fun language differences to us so we can discuss the names. The only bill that has any wiggle room is the groceries. So unfortunately when money has to come from somewhere, it’s always the grocery budget!🤦🏼♀️ Sometimes we have to get creative with meals. Not so much snacks or convenience!🙁 You guys look like your still gonna eat good though! Great haul! 😊

We had to wait 4weeks for a car part from overseas so hopefully you won't have to wait that long. Great food haul. TY. That haul would have cost more than that in New Zealand our cost of living is really high here.

Must be a Queensland thing . We have always called them cocktail franks here in vic . Mind you I get up and they were nick named little boys which were not allowed to say anymore apparently. Everytime I see rays milk treats and chocolates I think of my dad who loves the same type of treats .

Yes our trees change colour/loose leaves in Autumn/Winter. Although I'm sitting in front of a murraya (orange blossom) tree, they don't loose their leaves, they get white flowers on them, very fragranced and a very sturdy tree
I have to try one with syrup, we always do Butter and Vegemite or Honey
First I gotta say, can't believe how much you pay for bananas up there considering that's where they're grown. That's nearly double to what we pay in SA, that blows my mind.

The blessing to this is you had the gift cards & vouchers to help with the groceries. I'm sure it was a huge help & you got quite a bit for the money.
I went shopping and forgot that I had gotten a $50 gift card to my grocery store at Christmas and I found it & it was a blessing at the time to have as I'm still not working due to I'm caring for my mum. She can't be alone for long stretches of time. Her health has been deteriorating. But she's still with us and I'm grateful!

I don't know about Australia, but the price of groceries & other goods have skyrocketed in prices here in America! Everything from meats, dairy, fruits & veggies as well as other foods and products! Its crazy! 🥴

Yes most schools have a school bus in Australia. I'm unsure why they can't use it, maybe because they live to far away from.the kids school. I'm in Melbourne Australia all.kids take a bus to school here👍

We keep savings for big important 'emergencies' like medical or job changes, that kind of thing. Everything else we just adjust the grocery costs as we always have some stockpiles we can use. ;-)
I think this was a great grocery haul. Lots of good foods. How many children live at home? We have 8 at home. My daughter and granddaughter eat here often. They live down the street. I enjoy your channel.

Well Done! As mum's we always do what we have to , to keep everything going. I LOVE food shopping and getting bargains - I live in Adelaide so saw similar things to you at Coles. I do however find that the Coles Crumpets are the same as the name brand. We use the Earth Dishwashing Liquid as it's only $2 for 1 litre and it works well with our dishes and we buy the 400gm pack of Coles Ham for $5.50 it has 28 slices in it divided into 4 sealed packs. Hope this helps if your looking at saving a bit more $$$. Love your videos!
