    This is the best rendition of this great song I’ve heard! Thank you for taking the time to display the tab! I also play bass and electric guitar at Church and we will be playing this song at the end of the month. I’m trying to figure out how to get the tabs for the entire son on one sheet of paper for our practice sessions. I am not as skilled a player as you are so every bit of help I will greatly appreciate! Thank you for very much for sharing!!!!

    Sounds good. My nephew is Blaine Stark who is the lead in the video by Phil Wickham. Not sure if he wrote the lead for this song or not, I'll have to ask, but it is his style of play. Sort of Mike Campbell where a little is more than enough.

      Wow that is awesome! Yeah it takes a good ear to know how to serve the song and not over play. Tell your nephew great job!

    Thanks bro! This is perfect with gt1000 settings. More worship songs pls 😂. One with heavy guitar lines like Hillsong or Starship and with gt1000.

    Thank you for this it is very helpful. We are learning this song in our church and do not have a lot of resources, I have to try and figure out the parts, and finely someone with a Boss. I have a GT 8, it is hard to fine anyone who uses Boss instead of the Helix. Once again Thank you so much.

      Glad I could help! And yeah the Boss GT1000 keeps me busy (constantly tweaking to get it to sound better).

    Amazing job! Your tone is on point, and love that you are using a GT Core.
    Would you be willing to share your effects signal chain? What your using?

    • @WorshipGuitarRiffs
      @WorshipGuitarRiffs  Год назад

      Yeah in the second half of the video I show which effects/order/parameter values. So let me know if any questions!

    • @CAMFOCUSTV
      @CAMFOCUSTV Год назад +1

      Wow!! Great job! Do you use your GT Core live at church?
      Do you run your Big Sky through the FX Loop? Do you run it stereo or mono?

    • @WorshipGuitarRiffs
      @WorshipGuitarRiffs  Год назад

      Yeah I use this same setup live at church. I make a string of patches that follows the sequence of the song. Then I just “patch up” as we play. Minimizes foot tap dancing. But this is where the Big Sky comes in as it makes the patch changes seamless. Otherwise the GT1000 reverb would cut off and start again with each patch change. The Big Sky is in the effects loop in stereo located as shown in the video. But lately live I’ve been playing mono but for these videos it is stereo.

    • @CAMFOCUSTV
      @CAMFOCUSTV Год назад

      That’s great. That means you are using the two s/r FX loops on the Core to run the strymon in stereo?

    • @WorshipGuitarRiffs
      @WorshipGuitarRiffs  Год назад

      Yes that is correct. Activate the “Stereo link mode” and the 2 S/R blocks join as one for stereo. The main goal is to put the reverb before the cab block. The cab sim will make the reverb trail sound less digital. And it’s “pedals in front of the amp” approach. Otherwise I would love to put the big sky after the Gt1000 and use the S/R for external stomp boxes (like a POG) but for now I need to prioritize it for the Big sky.
