I had like 2 or 3 friends who would willingly play multiplayer on this with me during the 360 Era. Really wish this game made it to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. The problem is the game was basically shat on by everyone because it advertised it as a remake of Goldeneye 64 when in reality it was just a modern 007 game. Could've just called the game 007 reloaded, but no they put Goldeneye in the title specifically to mislead people.

I actually have very fond memories of playing the Nintendo DS version of this game. It was basically like having a portable version of the N64 version. It definitely didn't make it better per-se but it gave it a certain charm at least.
That was a completely different game though, it was not even based off of the movie it was just called golden eye cuz the character literally had a golden eye lol

I actually have fond memories with this game. I worked at a summer camp for several seasons and a friend of mine brought up a PlayStation with this game. Multiplayer was also very good. Had some classic James bond modes, along with a few unique ones. VIP mode was fun. One player was the VIP, had only gadgets to protect himself, and you had to either kill or capture the VIP to score. Killing him was one point, capturing was 2. Also a Bond and Felix mode, where two players played as these two characters, but with all their unique gadgets. The rest of the players had to essentially play hide and seek, because a direct confrontation was suicide.

The owners of the Bond franchise have a weird marketing rule about only using the current Bond actor in any and all media. It's a stupid rule made up because the assumption is that it hurts the marketing potential of Bond if a previous actor is being portrayed.
