This is an honest review. Most people that were trying to sell something wouldn't have shown the results of the members testing. Just because they prefer the Bushnell doesn't mean the other unit isn't worth the money or a good product. Great video.

Always. I genuinely thought it would complete, but that’s the beauty of getting other peoples views. I was wrong about how good it were. I still think it’s good, but it clearly doesn’t compete against the best. Thanks again

Got mine off Amazon for £75 opened it up and had a £15 voucher inside! So £60 bargain. Has slope and love it. Charged it once and it’s still going strong months later.

Wow! I thought a charge would be required every couple of rounds 👌🏼

@@garymartingolf to be fair I don’t use it like you do lol I tend to know how far it is to the green from all areas of the rough and trees!

No way I'm spending £350 on a device that tells me how far to hit the ball, if I can't hit it to that distance anyway...
I've never used a Lazer, but would definitely look at the ones lower down the price range.

    • @garymartingolf

£350 is a lot of money. These milsey ones seem to get a lot of good reviews

give the precision pro nx10 a try. i traded in my bushnell for it, zero regrets. I also have the Uswing app on my phone with the wind + slope but nothing compares to a good range finder. Especially when you're out on the range trying to dial in your distances.

Hi Gaz,Test would be more accurate if you had people who do not use range finders. People who already have Bushnelsl will have a leaning to the brand as they have used it previously.

Interesting that the 3 users who picked the Bushnell were existing Bushnell users, I suspect that they recognised it as a Bushnell having previously used one and being used to it's features

They all preferred the bushnell but it would have been interesting to hear if they felt it was worth the difference in price? Might have swayed a few back to the other brand potentially.

I use the GOGO laser...got it last year for $99 US. Easy to use and flashes when it locks on and gives you distance and slope. Bushnell is probably better but not $300 better....just my 2 cents.

My brother bought a cheap Chinese one from one of those 'websites' best day of my life when a set of kids army binoculars turned up in the post 😂😂

I've got a "cheap" range finder that has always worked quite well for me. My friend has a Bushnell, comparting the two mine was within a yard or two from 200 -150 yards out. Figuring my game is always the "I'm going to hit this shot about 150" and not "I"m going to place this shot 151.5 yards" I guess I'm ok with the cheaper one :).

I've got a Mileseey PF260 that I got for just under $150.00 CAD. I've had it on course with someone playing a Bushnell Pro XE that's over $700 here. Only 1-3 yards in it on any given zap, so as far as I'm concerned it's not worth the extra 250 bucks per yard of accuracy.

But all 3 used Bushnell so they knew how that works, I suspect non laser users would answer differently to the 3 you spoke to.

I think they might have, it’s just not easy to get people on camera, some people are very shy.

Mine randomly stopped jolting when locking on to a pin. Did i accidentally turn this off and or is there a way to reset the range finder?

What you can see from the video is that, they were both easy to use, both gave more or less the same numbers and other than the vibration/bleeping/lock on was no real difference. So the question i would ask... Is the Bushnell worth 160quid more (120% increase) , surely not?

    • @garymartingolf
      @garymartingolf  2 года назад +1

I wish I’d asked that question now 😬

I think the one to compare the Bushnell with is the Milessey with Slope. As it does all the Jolt and slope stuff for about 1/3rd the price of bushnell. I think the bushnell is quality but overpriced. I sold my v3 with no slope for the price I paid for my new milesssey and it comes with 2 x usb rechargeable batteries!

I would buy a laser priced according to handicap.
Cheap to begin with. Once 10 and below something possibly better. Check out VoiceCaddie SL2 Hybrid GPS/ Laser and others cheaper in their range.

Nah....the Kareeme or Millesey on Amazon are the two best IMO, same model but the Kareeme is cheaper at under £80 occasionally found at £50....bargain!!!!

I have been using a Mileseey for the last 12 months. Takes a little longer to lock on than a bushnel but sub £100 you really can’t beat - never spending more than that again
