The attention to detail is impeccable in this one. Especially when it's the POV of Demoman looking at the drawing and then lowering it, just to expose Spy in the same pose as the drawing. It's so good, I can't even deny.
The worst part is that tf2 only has one "paper rustle" sound in it's library, luckily i had some other files handy, but if you go back and listen, i think i used the same paper_drop.wav atleast 5-6 times
There's actually a mood function for the AI, you can set the tone to the same as a different phrase. For example you can make Demo say "You act like a dog on the internet?" in which he'll deliver that line in the form of a genuine question. If you change it to "You act like a dog on the internet? / I'm not angry I'm just disappointed." then he'll instead deliver the line with parental disgust. It's pretty nifty.
This is so well animated oml The subtle character acting, the pacing and even the motion is like butter. None of that pose tweening nonsense that most SFM animators rely on, this almost looks like it was taken frame by frame. I know it's a shitpost but good job man
This animation is like official valve animation quality and it makes it feel more real now we just need Gary Schwartz and Dennis Bateman to do the voices for it
