It’s actually a norm in many countries. Korea has medical tourism where people fly in to get a complete makeover and while healing, they’re taken around tourist locations all bandaged up and swollen; get checked into the same hotel to recuperate… it’s actually a thing guys. At some point some chinese ladies had issues with immigration cos they didn’t look the same as when they flew in. And fyi parents here gift their kids ka eye lid surgery as early as 11 years old.
