Audition: Clean Vocals || Shayley Bourget - Of Mice & Men

"Audition" - New frame in the channel where we will be listening to the best of vocals, both clean and screaming and etc. Let's start with a great vocal, Shayley.
Shayley Bourget was the bassist and vocalist of the Metalcore band Of Mice & Men, although it does not have much recognition, it has one of the most symbolic and talented voices of the genre. He left the band in 2012 for suffering from depression and alcoholism along with other personal issues, and felt that he was bringing the other band members down. Since then he has started a project called Dayshell, which is to this day.

I love it he's like a mix of chino from deftones and arnel Pineda if you combine their singing techniques you'd get that. Very tight controlled 45/55 chest head mixed voice with a controlled airy vibrato. I've been practicing this technique for a while and can do it on some songs

it's such a shame what BS this band went through left and right, It died when Carlile left IMO, and mostly bc Jerry was such a dbag, but it officially DIED when Shay left. Shay really made that band.
