Twenty-five percent of the total student population of each of the 16 Lasallian educational institutions in the Philippines are provided with a 100% tuition-free academic scholarship.
The scholarship funds are provided by the alumni, partner corporations and the 75% of the student population.
The "Pay It Forward" culture of giving and sharing instilled by the Christian Brothers is very prevalent in all Lasallian educational institutions.

You should’ve tried Our Lady of Fatima University. You can do your entire 4th year in the US. There’s alot of US physicians that will be more than happy to let you do clerkship with them. I’m just like you, went to PI to study. I graduated and got my paperwork’s for USMLE steps 1 and 2. I just want to warn you, hahaha the step exams need totally different approaches to answer question.

Did you have to pay an extra $7000 to enroll to lasalle after acceptance as a dual citizen ?

Thanks for making these videos 😭 thinking about possibly doing the same thing, and it’s true there aren’t much videos about FilAm studying med in the Philippines. Keep up the great work ✨ I appreciate it. For the recommendation letters, does it have to be only science based profs or for any uni subject?

Aww thank you so much 😊
For the letters of rec I had 1 that was from a science prof and 1 from a general Ed prof! The schools never specified and when I asked they said it didn’t really matter. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions 😊

@@danellediaries8307 sorry for spamming you w/ questions. you’ve been very helpful. as a follow up to this question, does the LOR have to have the school/organization letterhead or does it not matter? Thank you again I know you are busy. Hope all is doing well for you.

@@motongever hahaha no worries! for my case only 1 of my letters of rec had a school letterhead. I don't think there are any specific instructions stating that there needs to be an official letterhead as a requirement, but I think having one definitely boosts the credibility :)

Did you have to have your transcript of records authenticated by the Philippine embassy here in the US?
And I am assuming you had the TOR sent directly to you and brought it to the consulate? Thank you in advance.

For UERM, if you grew up in the PI say 10 years of your life before you moved to the US, are you considered a local applicant then even if you had your undergrad in the US?

    • @danellediaries8307
      @danellediaries8307  3 года назад +1

I am not 100% sure about this one for UERM :( but for UST I believe they would still consider you as a foreign applicant

Hi @@danellediaries8307, your channel is awesome!! Thanks for sharing your journey and advice! I hope everything is going well with med school :)) I'm in a similar situation as Motongever. Just to clarify, was the reason that you were Category 3 for UST because of your dual citizenship? In other words, if you weren't dual, would you have been considered a foreign applicant as well?

Hi, how’s med school going for you? How are you liking UST so far?
I also want ask if you were accepted to DLSHSI? and if so, did they offer scholarships? I heard they give away scholarships generously. It’s one of the schools I’m considering but hoping for scholarship.

Hello!! Med school is going well, it's tough but there's no med school that's easy hahaha UST has been amazing! It's been online since I've started but I'm really hoping to go face to face soon so I can finally appreciate the beautiful campus also :)
Yes!! i was accepted into DLSHSI! and yes if I remember correctly the offer scholarship based on undergraduate grades. For example, I think if you graduated with honors there is a higher chance of getting a scholarship! (but double check hehe i'm not sure if it's still the same now)
