    Actually, the word "Assassin" comes from the word "Hashashin", the name of a group of Islamic sect, militant warriors in the Middle East during the time of the Crusades. "Hashashin" means "those faithful to the foundations", and its from their ideals and combat tactics that Ubisoft got their inspiration for Assassin's Creed

    • @Farfromhere001

      and that word a connection to Cannabis and Hashish.

    • @cherokydonato

      hashishin means "hashish drinker" as far as I know.

    • @argus2389
      @argus2389 8 лет назад +4

      Achillez the thing is their morals are complete opposites of what they are in real life: the hashashins were, assassins, and the Templar were protectors. Also the two groups never met in real life

    • @abd4620

      cherokydonato
      hashashin means those who smoke weed :p and no im not kidding 😂 yes, stoners they were..
      their leader used hashish (weed) to get them high and happy telling them that this is heaven, and they can enter it if they do what he says, he used that to get them to kill people thus becoming assassins (stoners) lol
      its funny how such frightening word in English is a one that we (Arabs) use in jokes 😂😂

    Reliving your ancestors would be a double edged sword in my opinion, that is reliving all the emotions they went through in. Just imagine all the sorrow and death in one life time. But the intrigue of seeing the life of someone you are desended from could out weighs the emotions of one life.

      Depending on how developed it gets by the time such a technology would be available to the public, there would quite possibly be a way to select specific memories that would place individuals to certain events and times. (Plus considering everyone is related to everyone after a certain point)

    • @agentj3627
      @agentj3627 4 года назад +1

      @@Vlad2319 You could probably also share memories with other people too, which would be pretty cool, although, it would be only as a sort of "story", instead of you controlling what happens, since it's not a game, but would be really interesting nonetheless! Well, we can't be too sure about any of this, it's just dream talk at this point

    Yes, it is true that introns themselves do not encode for proteins, but they are not totally useless. In fact, the presence of introns in our DNA is key in the creation of complex organisms. When DNA is tuned to mRNA, the introns are spliced out and allow exons to be arranged in many isoforms (via alternative splicing), creating great variability in gene function. Bacteria don't have introns, which is part of the reason why they are simple organisms.
    Also, mutations in our introns affect the levels of proteins produced, among other effects.

    ZIPF'S Law is merely just a representation of variability. When there's less variation in the set of things you're looking at, the pattern the set's pieces make will look less "Zipfian", while the more variation there is, the more it will look "Zipfian".

      Mid-Dynite Party Never read any. Jesus was from Jerusalem meaning he isn't white. But back then white people were racist as shit and I guess they couldn't accept that Jesus wasn't white so they drew him as a white person, modeled by Leonardo da Vinci's painting of Cesare Borgia.

    • @eruditootidure2611
      @eruditootidure2611 8 лет назад +2

      ***** Uhhhh... Nope, definitely not. Nobody pronounces it like that:
      Connor pronounces it "Rah-doh-hane-Geh-doh", but the Actor isn't Kanienkehaka, so I'd ignore that pronunciation.
      In the Tyranny of king Washington, One of the Brothers pronounces it "Ruh-Doon-Huh-Gay-Din", and the other says "Rah-Doe-Hahn-Gay-Don". The voice actor for the Former is not Kanienkehaka, and I can't find the voice of the latter.
      Ziio pronounces it sort of like "Rah-Dohn-Hah-Gay-Dohn", The clan mother pronounces it "Rah-doon-hah-gay-doon", with only a slight "n" at the end, Kanentokon pronounces it "Rah-Doon-Hah-Gay-Doon". All three are voiced by Kanienkehaka actors, so those are presumably the most accurate pronunciations.

      I highly doubt it, honestly the way it sounds to me is "Rah-Toon-Hah-Kay-Ton" The D is silent and since the T has a far higher tone I'd replace it instead of the D.

      Boreas, for a movie that was designed to set up the Assassin's Creed universe and nothing else, it wasn't bad. We will just have to wait and see how the next movie in the series turns out and yes, they are making several more of them, just like they are making more Warcraft movies.

    Total B.S.
    Assassins is loosely translated to "weeders" in Arabic. Basically they're killers that are high.
    Their enemy weren't the crusaders, they were kind of bandits: kill and steal. So basically all the countries at that time took them as enemies.
    The crusaders fought the Seljuks and won, got defeated by the Ayyubids, and were completely kicked out by Mamluks.
    Muslims didn't k ill a single soul in Jerusalem and Christians handed them the keys.
    Crusaders massacred the Muslims in every place they went to using their atrocity propaganda.
    Assassins weren't even a threat.

    actually, assassin come's from the word "hashishin" which means "hashish drinkers". They're called that way because the old man of the mountain used hashish and a hidden garden in the palace to convince his followers that if they showed obedience they would be taken to that garden filled with "pleassures and beauties".
