      why ppl overhype sinner ? i've watched his game and he was great. but he already 22 years old and hasnt won major to his name until now. so i dont think he will be the next big thing. rune and alcaraz are the future of tennis and they are 2 years younger than sinner.. sinner will be like isner or del potro but he will win couple of major, maybe 2 or 3 at max but we dont know when it will happen

    He is a very motivated, talented limber player
    Along with being a warrior!!! He never gives up. He's a pleasure to watch. Waited so long for someone with the mental strength of Rafa. I think we have our new tennis top player. Just needs to stay healthy. Rafa didn't get unhealthy until his late 20s. But you go, Carlitios ...it's a pleasure to watch you❤

    The serve and that first forehand was like a young Nole, followed by 2 Rafa topspin-heavy forehands with a lasso finish over the head, then the Roger-esque approach, pick-up shot and volley at the net…followed by a mix of Nole and Rafa on the volley over the shoulder and to top it all off, a uniquely Carlos Alcaraz lob to seal the deal at the end.
    Absolutely magical.

It could’ve landed out by being a few millimeters further out or it could’ve landed more in being a few millimeters. Doesn’t matter. Point is he thought it was out, it wasn’t, he not basically right he was wrong and u never assume it’s out for that specific reason

    What’s amazing is that hidden behind all of this apparent kinetic ferocity is movement that is very fluid and economical. He covers a lot of ground with his very long and balanced stride, so the movement isn’t taxing on his body. Vital for a long injury free career.

    It would not come as a shock to me if Carlos Alcaraz was not a mere human. I agree, his athleticism is absolutely absurd, and frankly beyond just absurd. It’s incomprehensible. Are you kidding me? Who in their right mind would ever think that a mere man could do what Carlos Alcaraz does on the tennis court?

      @@razgriz1ne1ne48 That is true. They are born different. Alcaraz is a true exception. As of recent, I cannot recall a tennis player with such impressive athleticism. He makes all his competitors look like complete fools in comparison. His reflexes and sheer physical capabilities appear to be truly other-worldly.

      @Battler Ushiromiya I think the only other 3 tennis players I can think of were Rod Laver, Borg and Monfils and even then they had some aspects that were a hindrance, Lavers height, Borgs heart mermer, Monfils stamina and mental seriousness

    the low dig out of a volley == Sampras
    The forehand cross court (almost a winner) == right handed Nadal

      At his age He appears to be better than Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic were. Nadal perhaps was superior on clay, but Alcaraz has a much more complete game than Nadal did at that age.

      @@Mzee1084 It's debatable. An injured Nadal last year defeated him at IW on a hard court at 35 years old. Imagine 19 years old Nadal who won 2 masters 1000 on hard in 2005. Alcaraz is solid, but not that material yet. Not to mention he has an extremely weak competition nowadays. Tennis is getting worse.

      @@NLLeFa, not really. I've watched tennis since before Borg arrived and the level of tennis now is some ten times better than the one of 40 years ago. Zverez, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and the like would have smashed, crushed and masacrated such big players as Connors, McEnroe, Lendl or Wilander.

    Alcaraz es un humano kamikaze del tenis que le salen bien puntos casi imposibles, tiene un tenis bonito de ver, no como el de Djokovic, por ejemplo, que tiene una forma predecible de darle a la pelota y no tiene tantos recursos como Carlos. De Carlos impresiona la variedad en su juego para lo joven que es.

    He’s gone back to the old school with the volley. I’ve never seen a player so quick and instinctive with his volleying when his opponents are also at the net and rifle it into his side of the court.
    It’s other worldly.
