(HD) Passenger meets Local (SOO) at remote Ransom Jct, ND

(HD) A Special Passenger Train stops for a CP Rail Local with Original SOO LINE painted power at Ransom Junction, North Dakota. The train is pulled by Red River Valley and Western GP 38-2's and the passenger car is private car Dagney Taggart, that was once used by the New York Central in the 1950's. The train is on a tour of North Dakota towns for television station KVLY-TV and is carrying station celebrities and behind the scene personnel. July 2015. That was a unique railroading situation all the way around. Two branch lines crossing with an interchange track & interlocking signals - that has become a rare situation with the abandonment of so many branch lines.
