That last 16th note linear thing is one of the slickest grooves. I think I have it down now. Thanks.

The playback speed is very useful when trying to figure these out ... damn this guys pocket is deep!!
my first drum book...Rick latham Contemporary Drumset Techniques! thanks! best book ever..
I just learned about Rick for the first time just recently. So you do recommend all his drum lessons. He pretty good. Easy to understsnd
Nice. Real good practical stuff. The kit sounds great, too.
👍Niceness!
Great job Rick. And thanks for all your good drum Grooves. Really helped me to understand a lot of what your doing. Breaking it all down gos a long way for me. I know a lot of good drummers out there get it fast. Ut it takes me a little while sometimes depends on the teacher. Your style works just fine with me. Easy to understand. Thanks a bunch

I never saw anyone play their left hand next to their leg like that.
Hey Rick, what mics are you using in this video?
+Leon Kechayas Hi Leon.......the mics on the toms are Sennheiser 421s and a Sennheiser 441 on the snare........I don't recall what was used on the kick and the condenser mics for hat and overheads but I'm sure the Drumxound guys can fill you in on those.......Groove On and ciao from Milano......R
