Thank you for the new techniques! I created my own blending palette by laminating an index card.
I really liked the blending with water, makes the color come ALIVE! Thank You.
blending with the water was my favorite thank you
Blending with the water is also my favorite, just love it!
I like that last technique the most too the blending result is just so nice n smooth
Love this tutorial Becca! Thanks so much! Blending has always been harder for me. Love the last method!
I love your last technique. Looks so smooth in colors. Thanks for showing. I am so thankful for you.
Love the last technique. looks beautiful
I really like what you are doing!!! As for the last way, I used the blending marker instead of water and was great too.
Especially love the last one. You’re a great teacher, thanks
You are such a great teacher , direct to the point with clear statements
I really liked the blending with water. I just bought some of these pens and I cant wait till they arrive. 🤓🤩
Genial! Você realmente nos traz idéias super importantes e de fácil realização!
Adoro seus vídeos e suas aulas.
Muito obrigada!🌹
Just got my Towbow brush pens a few days ago and I have been having fun coloring my stamped flower images. I have been using that last technique you showed and find that it works great! Looking forward to starting our calligraphy class with you in a few days. You always do a great job explaining. Thank you
All blends look brilliant
Best calligraphy channel so far
Thanks Becca! That looks so FUNNNN!😁
Thank you for sharing Becca! I would have to say my favorite is the last one with the water and brush. :) I love all the different options you've thought of to blend colors using Tombow Dual tip brushes.
I like all the techniques. I think my favourite though was the water blending.
Thanks a bunch! I also like the effect of the last one the best. Great lettering!
Awesome blending ideas!!
Thanks your workshops are amazing, thank you so much 😊
I LOVE THE squeak of a new Tombow brush pen. It's like ASMR for people who love lettering!! Your writing is so beautiful! My goal is to letter like you!
This is so helpful. I love this. Thanks.
Very cool! Thank you! I will have to try all before I choose a fave!
These techniques are great! Thank you!
I loved all the techniques but the last one is my fav. I will give it a try the next time I sit down to write out notecards :) thanks for sharing!!
This was very cool, I had no idea that you could blend and play with markers in this way.
Thank you so much for the tips! THIS HELPED SO MUCH!!!!
Nice. Can’t wait to get my lettering technique down and add colors to them.
All very helpful. Thank you
Great tutorial. Blending onto pens and with water looked the best
I found the last technique was more help for me when I am blending colour of my flowers and leaves when making my greeting cards ive been using tombows for near 2o years and they still haven't run out of their ink I put thatvdown to making sure the lids are replaced as soon as you use them love tombow markers over all the others on the market
Now that I’m doing your Show Me Your Drills course, I’m keen to try the first technique and the watercolour technique. The first one looked fun but the watercolour one was beautiful.
I really like the last one. It might be a little easier form me to master. Thank you for the education!
I love the blending with water idea
OMG! that was so awesome! it totally worked!
Last one is easier on the eye - now I'll have to save up to buy these - I'm not an artist but like to play !!
Wow! Thank you so much!
I like the watercolor best, I also like the first example.
Like the water blending. Thank you.
Loved the last one blending with water!! Thanks for sharing!!! k :)
Okay, you have my attention. I liked the first ones technique better. More practical. But the results of the water blending looked much more impressive. Love it!
Great tutorial!!!
Blending with water is definitely my favorite. :) Thank you!
It’s been pretty hard to find out a right adjective to describe your work , Is Unbelievable ! Thanks a lot for sharing it
Wonderful !
I like the last option best!
Wow that's great... Thnx 😍 for such a lovely video
This is great!
I had no idea you could do that with tomboy pens. The last one is also my favorite. Thanks again.
I loved last one..
It was toooooooooo good and I liked the most was blending with water
It's very helpful thank u☺
Goddammm!!!!today itself I was scouting for blending with brush pens, and voila, found you😀😀😀thanks so much Becca👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I LIKED THE WATER BLENDING
Great tutorial as usual. You’re a great teacher, who always gets right to the point. Do you know if Zebra Funwari pens would work for blending?
The last option was my favorite
Very nice
Excellent tutorial. I've used the last technique almost exclusively. Question: Is there any way to "make new colors" which would cover larger areas, with Tombows or other water based markers? I can't afford a complete set of all colors and tonalities. For example, I might want a very dark olive green, but I don't own that color. I can make the color using watercolor paints, but I haven't found a way to do it with markers.
Hi Becca....great video, I’m with you I like the last technique the best, I like it to be a smooth bled; so many talented folks on Instagram!!!! 😘👌🏽👍🏽🤛🏽👏🏽🙌🏽👵🏽❤️❣️
Lovely calligraphy the only one I don't using is the blender marker technique
my favorite was nbr 5 with the water and brush.
My favourite is the last one
I like your sound effects
hey Becca.!!!! how did you made that calendar behind you??? that is so amazing calligraphy......and.......the blending techniques are so cool.....it is so satisfying as you said.....
I like the last example, blending with water.
Actually so interesting. I learnt a lot. Please can you do more Tombow brush pen idea videos. I.e. how to use your Tombow brush pens to make different effects in 1 video instead of a number of different videos. Thank you.
Nice 👍
Hi Becca. Can you use Clairefontaine paper with the Tombow Dual Brush pens? Its comprable to rhodia
You are the best
Great tutorial! Do the same techniques work with Copic markers?
Are you using just firmer pen pressure to get the fatter downstrokes and lighter ( just the tip) for the upstrokes? Do you have a video on how to make these cursive letters? My attempts never come out this beautiful. Thanks.
Hi Becca, what is the name of water color paper you use for the last one.
I figured out away to keep the transition color even. I used my ruler to draw a faint line where I wanted all the color layers to stop. Did that make sense? With the 2nd darker color were to imagine a line to keep the colors even in the word...uh..I think you get it. Then erase the line when you're finished with the "umbré".
Can you use the Tombow blender pen instead of the paintbrush to get the same effectthat you did in the last example?
What can you use instead of blending paper? In the meantime, I'll try the pen on pen method. Thanks!
Becca, what paper do you recommend for practicing blending with the Tombows? Only Rhodia? I noticed that HP Premium tears a lot when practicing blending with the pens. I wonder if marker paper or Rhodia tears less than hp premium?
Very cool. Are the pens alcohol based? Im just wondering if any of these techniques might transfer to using, for example Copic markers.
Can u please tell if blending using brustro brush pens would stain or not ?
Also pls make a video on brustro brush pens review
Would parchment paper work for a "blending palette"?
Love this! Would all of these techniques work with the artline stix pens? :)
Ive trieds the first three and it works perfectly the same as with tombow, also mixing tombow and artline is possible, I havent tried picking up colors with the blender, only doing the gradients right on the paper so that would need a try :) Hopes that helps
Julie Tomeczek thank you soooo much!! Super helpful :)
Perfect!! Thanks so much for sending this to me....this is Jeannie Belew....I'm on my business account!!
Can we use these blending techniques for any brush pen or only tombows?!?!?!!
How do you keep the colors bendable once the ink starts drying? Your example is very even and there is no stop from one color to the next. I had to try and go fast to make my umbre effect work, ya know? I can clearly see where my red stops and my orange starts. What's the secret?😊
Which paper sheet are you using ?
I liked blending with a blending pallete
I did something crazy. I dipped the pen tip into the water and blend my picture, it turned out really nice but I’m not sure how long my tips will last =))
When they dry can they be activated again with water?
Blending with water 💛❤️
Nice eh!
Is tombow blender can blend with camlin brush pens
Would cutting out plastic from a bottle and sanding it so it dosn't cut you work as a blending pallete ?🤔
Do I have to use dual brush pen or can I just use regular colored tombow brush pen?
As long as it is a true brush pen with a flexible tip, you should be okay. :)
❤️👍🏻
I like the last one…
Can you make your own blending pallets?
pexchyxkhloe I did
Bending with water❤
you are so good i wish i was you
I would like to see different colors every video only shows those in tutorials
I have NEVER gotten a clear brush pen from Tombow! Maybe that's just for the people who do tutorials? I've ordered 3 different colors of 10 pen Dual Tip pens. Now i feel left out!😢
