Me: Watches the video. You: These are the Staedler Brush Pens. Me: That kinda looks like the markers I have right now! Also Me: Checks the brand. Still Me: OH MY LORD! I AM JUNGSHOOK!
Wow! Now I will have to go back through all my assorted markers and try my own comparison. Thank you. I have the Tombows and some other odd brands to play with. The Karin are gorgeous inks. And I do love the dependable Tombows which give me some confidence in my beginning brush lettering.
I have to say that Tombow and Karin are the best. I have all the Artist's Loft colors that you showed, so I'm excited to try those out as they were my next favorite. I'm hoping to get some Karin Markers for Christmas and this may be the first technique I use them with. Thank you for this video, it was so helpful. And I'm looking forward to starting your skill share course too.
Oh yay! That's nice that you have Artist's Loft because they work well for this technique as long as they're used on the right paper. Karin Markers would make the best christmas gift! They're definitely a favorite of mine! You'll have to let me know! :)
Thank you! I have only tried the Tombow so far. But I do have the Artist Loft and the Stradlaeter markers so I can’t wait to try them. Your SkillShare class is FANTASTIC!!
Hi Sarah! I absolutely LOVE your videos and think you're absolutely fantastic. You're so inspirational and help me with my calligraphy. You post so regularly I constantly come to your channel to check if there's a new video I've missed out on. If you see my comment thank you SO much for being my inspiration! For the Zebra brush pens, I think they're nice but only work if you're looking for a pretty pastel affect, definitely not for a starry, galaxy background. Hope you know you're amazing! Love you! 😘😘 PS: The three dislikes are from people who gave up on calligraphy ages ago because they wouldn't put effort in and keep going round hating amazing calligraphy videos like this one. 😂
Hey there! Thanks for your input! I agree about the zebra brush pens. They're some of my favorite, just not for galaxies. Thank you for your kind words and for being here! :)
I assist at early childhood and learning centers (ages range from 3-5 years). Any chance you could do a short series on a "Lettering style course" adapted to teaching young children the absolute foundational skills of lettering. Thanks.
Actually, mildliners can be amazing for galaxy if you layer them and leave blenders out of it, just vary the edges of the color layers. I've also done monochromatic coloring with single mildliner brush tips and they can get great buildable depth.
Very helpful. Can you do lettering tips and tricks? Sorry if you already did, I am a new fan! Edit: I'm starting by doing it with Sharpies, for my friends. Their name, birthday, and what their name means!
I’ve used Tombows the most for Galaxy lettering and still love how vibrant the colors are. I would love to try the Karin markers though, they are amazing. I only have the metallic ones (bought them for myself as a christmas present) but it seems I might want to get some other colors as well. I also love Ecoline brush pens for galaxy lettering. They’re not dual tips, but have such vibrant coloring and they blend so well! They do tend to bleed on thinner paper though. Love your videos!
Thank you for watching and thank you for sharing that! I guess I need to try ecoline for galaxy lettering! They are so juicy I’m sure they would blend really well!
I know! It's crazy! And honestly, I don't know if Tombow was the very first to do the dual tip, but they're definitely more established than all of these new brands coming out. I'm excited to do a review video comparing all of them!
I love these tutorials! What numbers did you use for the tombow ones because im trying to recreate it. I would really appreciate it if you responded. Thanks!
Hey Sarah! Actually, I wanted a handwriting style for using it in my history project. Related to monuments in mughal ruling period. Can you suggest me any??? Please.
Ensign Insights thanks you very much i really need to buy a waterbrush for my tombows the blends look amazing, where have you bought yours by any chance?
They look so beautiful all together!! I loved the tombow and artist’s loft ones the most 💗
I know how much you love Tombow! They definitely have the more bright, classic look! :)

_This video content: Galaxy Lettering tutorial_
_My mind: I cant even do Lettering_
wow i had no idea there are so many tombow dupes!!
I know! It's crazy! And honestly, I don't know if Tombow was the very first to do the dual tip, but they're definitely more established than all of these new brands coming out. I'm excited to do a review video comparing all of them!
Hmmm. Did u used the matador fine tip markers? If not plzz use it for calligraphy or lettering.
I love these tutorials! What numbers did you use for the tombow ones because im trying to recreate it. I would really appreciate it if you responded. Thanks!
I don't remember exactly but I think it's 676, 685, 725, 443, and 407!
What were you using to blend for the tombow? Please reply, i just got my tombow galaxy palette and im really interested in blending with them!!!
for blending did she use the blending pen that comes in the tombow set or did she use water?
I used water and a waterbrush! I almost never use the Tombow blending pen!
@@EnsignInsights thank you so much!!
pls test ohuho brush and fine tip water-based marker pen
Verry Beautiful 🤗😘
Hi!! I just wanted to ask, What is the brand of watercolor brush you used in this video? 🌸🌟🌸
It's Kuretake! Linked in the description box. :)
I wish I could afford those
What did you use to blend the colors together?? Pls ans
it’s in the description! kuretake waterbrush!
@@石昊恩-j2i o ok thanks
Jun Terng Yiu no problem!
Hey Sarah!
Actually, I wanted a handwriting style for using it in my history project. Related to monuments in mughal ruling period.
Can you suggest me any??? Please.
I have no idea what style would be good for that! I would google some styles of that time period and go from there. Good luck!
Wow this is so amazing!!!
Finally I'm early !!!???!!!
Oh and the video is cool too !!!???!!!
Beatiful❤
Que papel usas para hacer degradado con dual tombow
What is that pen you use for blending,I need it
It's a kuretake waterbrush. Linked in the description! :)
What is the gold pen you used on Shine?
It's a Marvy Bistro chalk marker in gold! :)
❤️❤️
How does your colorless blender work?
Mine just ruin the paper
Edit: sorry if its a water brush pen
They look the same
That isn't a colorless blender, that's a water brush. Which you fill up with water. Hope that helped 🤗
I never use my colorless blenders because I don't like them! The waterbrush is exactly like a wet paintbrush which is much easier to work with. :)
Ensign Insights thanks you very much i really need to buy a waterbrush for my tombows the blends look amazing, where have you bought yours by any chance?
GamerTots TV From Amazon! The one I use is linked in the description box 👍
