I bought an 80GB silver 6th Gen in 2010 from my friend for $80. Used it religiously for around 6 years. Surprised everything on it works (except the hold button). Pulled it out of a box it's been sitting in for 2 years and IT STILL HAD 60% CHARGE.
I still have a busted iPod Classic 160GB in a drawer somewhere. It's crazy to think I used to walk around in my early teens with 20k songs I ripped from the internet. Good times man

@@TechFi-te3ik I just looked in German EBay. These things are still really high price. Especially “7th” generation… For example, 50 euros bids but still days to go in the auction. I miss the days when we bought a new album 💿 and finally held in our hands. The artwork, the booklets, the whole lot.

I live in a big metro area but have no found yet anyone able to confidently replace the battery. There is always some sort of disclaimer about chances of braking something or something not working. 🙄
It is not that hard to be honest! You just need to get the metal tools like I have in the video and carefully slide them in to the sides until you click the pins - four on each side, two in the bottom and one in the top just to the left of the headphone jack when looking from the frontplate. Then you out it facedown and take off the backplate to the left a bit - disconnect the battery ribon and then you can replace the battery!

Even if Apple has these iPhones as portable music players, I think it should rehabilitate the iPods with a touch of modernity like Bluetooth, wireless charging, large storage capacities, I'm sure it would be another hit!! ! for young people who don't necessarily have a phone to listen to music I'm sure it would sell like hot cakes Même si Apple à ces IPhone en guise de baladeurs je trouve qu'il devrait réhabiliter les iPod avec une touche de modernité du genre Le Bluetooth la recharche sans fil des grosses capacités de stockage je suis sûr qu'il ferait encore un nouveau carton !!! pour les jeunes qui ne va pas forcément de téléphone pour écouter la musique je suis sûr que ça se vendrait comme des petits pains
That’s sadly not business feasible- majority of people listen to music via their phones. Hence why iPod touch was discontinued - its sales compared to iPhone were miniscule and profit margins didn’t make sense anymore.
