Ridiculous that in 2020 the display is pausing and updating. Looks to me a throwback to thron from the 80's. Also is the price connected to the size of the box? Seems it was made bigger to justify the price versus function.
The major problem here, is that you can't buy the radio without the speaker/power supply. Otherwise, I would pull the trigger in a New York minute. I already have "studio sound" with a Mackie board and studio Phille monitors that delivers incredible audio, and my entire shack is powered by dual 6 CS 21P tended Rolls batteries. hello, very good explanation, I have a question if I wanted to connect my MFJ 962E External Antenna Tuner is it possible either to the radio or the FPS 101 speaker power supply? Or would I have to get an external power supply? Many Thanks in advance
I'm suprised that the "feet" on the radio, power supply and speaker do not have the gold band around the feet to accent the radio and price tag. My Yaesu FT-920, SP-8 speaker and Quadra amp do. And those are 20 years old.

Quality of the audio from speakers very flat and ugly. Id you use dnf in ssb it distort. The coax gear for second reciever is a total mess. I own it and i miss my old 9000mp
