I understand your take here, but I would only agree with you, but only if they had paced this to fit 6 episodes it should have been, versus thr 25 episodes it felt like it was (was 20+ eps?). With that being the case, it it made the shift very jarring and boring; going shift from and action/adventure drama to a incredibly slowly paced philosophical drama, bromance, and tragic unrequited love story - all with a DEEP decline in animation & art quality. Again this season should have taken 6 episodes, not the long slog that it was. This was worsened by the ever distracting tremendous decline in animation quality, and art quality in general - something which onl6 exacerbated my disinterest. I did managed to get through it, but I can't say I enjoyed it. While "Brave" it may been to make a lower-budget second season, to a acclaimed first season that revolved around brutal combat-centric drama, to be show show based upon pacifist & self-discovery while farming; wise it not (I'm my humble opinion). It almost felt like they made this on the cheap while waiting for the Manga to release more chapter. Or maybe they were just milking the IP before delving back into the plot points that most watchers were interested in, so they made this to fill the gap on shoestring budget. I don't know the cause, but this was some of the worst pacing I've ever actually watched; I was hoping something would spark onlur Main Character into action, or move the plot foward farther then: mire talking, more farming, and an impediment to farming. Instead, we got a bromance and tragic unrequited love story - which would have been fine, in 6 episodes. The ending 3 episodes would been better suited as the suited to pad out to half the season, and the boring ploy develoments, that were obvious from episode 2, could have been tied in a 1/3 the time spent on them. The only unpredictable was, is out.maon chatacter going to remain a boring bystander or do something in line with his training and behavior from season one. That is where the tension and story should have been focused.
Dude everyone hates vinland season 2 and original shaman king and fma but you love them, it kinda comes off like your trying too hard to be different but your arguments are pretty solid and i agree with them
Yeah I don't mean to come off as a contrarian, but it's just that most of the time when I want to make an interesting video while still being genuine, it's much more interesting to make videos about subjects and opinions that I have that differentiate from the norm.
While the steaks and action is lacking compared to season 1, the character work in this Arc really shines.

I might find something more to talk about by the end of the season but for right now I don't have any plans to follow up the video
