  • This clip shows six young people describing triggers that can set off an asthma attack. Triggers, which are objects or events, are varied and seasonal. Some of them, such as various foods, are avoidable. Others, such as temperature changes or contact with pet hair, can be more difficult to avoid and often affect a person's social life. This clip is one of a series in which Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people speak about living with and managing their asthma.
These Speaking from Experience clips offer first-hand accounts from 6 young people who are living with asthma. They discuss the impact that it has had on their lives and the ways they manage this chronic condition.
