To begin with, what a beautiful video! Secondly I’m so happy to see a poorly done backdate being rescued back to 964 and from there being improved. I really hope this will be a trend because like you I see the 964 as the pinnacle of 911’s.
Great build, I for one geeked out on the brake lines, and the rest of the mechanical details. Finally a 964 that looks like 964 not like some hybrid that never existed. Looking forward to more content, Subscribed
Imagine the amount of work it takes to restore a restomod back to a stock original state. The intricacies hidden in and out of that body is pure perfection 👌🏻 Can’t wait to see more builds from you guys 😉
I always thought that they day would come when people would want the 964 backdates corrected, I just didn't expect it this soon. I don't mind a backdate, but it's just become the fashionable thing to do. If it's based on a basket case, I get it. Otherwise, it's not for me. I would love to know more details regards the brakes instead of the if you know, you know responce with helps no one but one's ego. We need more videos.😁
The one positive about having covid-19 shutdown is that you can drive like crazy up and down exposition and around LA without worrying about traffic. I've toured the shop and saw some of the cars and they're all works of art.
If I had the money, if only I had it! I’m the same way of enjoying something looking original but under its all the best of the best. Like a beautiful Swiss watch
Bridgehampton Raceway! What a memory and how sad it was closed in 1999. I used to live in Sag Harbour and would love to soak up the atmosphere and as a consequence it took very little time to buy my first Porsche back in '96. I am the proud owner of the ultimate 964: Carrera RS.
Bridgehampton was amazing. Thank God I was able to do 1 track event at it with my 1986 BMW M535is and did go to a PCA event and one Ferrari gathering the day Aryton Senna was killed at Imola 1994 May 1st 1994. To this video. Thank you for saving another beautiful 911 that had been back dated. People please enough with the back dating. If you want an older 911 just buy one stop tearing up the 74 > 94 911s
Wow.. what a great video. And as another "player in the game " says... clearly you guys are articulate to the very end... and a firm where everything matters! Very styly indeed..and what a noise!!
Love what you did! The problem with backdating is that they ruin a fantastic generation of 911s which should be loved and preserved as it is (the chassis and the Mezger 3.6L of the 964 are absolutely epic). Plus, the bad tuners consider that the 964 generation is not good enough to stay aesthetically untouched, it is very sad because they are really beautiful (the perfect blend between vintage and modernity). The 964 is the last to be 100% hand built. Singer and other idiot tuners destroy them, creating false 60s and 70s 911s that never existed for wannabe dumb fake rich enthusiasts who want to shine on social media. If you love the 964 as it is (you are an authentic petrolhead and a real Porsche lover then, congrats!), there is also a sweet company based in Germany called Manufaktur 964. They preserve them properly and do a perfect job.
Subtle, backhanded slaps at Singer. "I cringe at backdated 964s;" returning to Hong Kong "as a true 964." Singer ❤🔥

Brilliant vlog, and even rare to see a RHD overhauled. I’m chasing one in Ireland 🇮🇪 fingers crossed.

❤❤964 Power!
Nice to see the plain Jane look.
Nothing is better or more timeless than an undefiled, original stock look. The flaring and backdating phases will get old.
Awesome driving 👌
Excellent Build - Subtle in appearance but rich in detail. Gorgeous videography!
Well done. Fantastic build by the Workshop 5001 team!

Congrats on the RS! Lovely car. I too have a 964 AND lived in Sag Harbor!

Awesome build, great video, thanks for sharing!
hey man why only one video on your channel? you doing ok? I want to see more of your work please
I would love to have a 911 built by this company.

Artisans, simply put. A handful of ‘em, passionate about 911s and it shows…or maybe doesn’t “show,” but this who know, know.
Sounds absolutely amazing
Nice work!
I love this car so much
Absolutely Tremendous.
ROCK CHIPS ARE COOL !!!!
Wow wow wow as usual!!
Amazing build and beautiful video, keep them coming please!
Really nicely done!
Incredible!!
Sensational work 👌🏼
New Years resolution - have you build my 964 to these engine specs.
Wonderful build! I'd love to send you my car. However I'm tasked with doing my own work as I'm a man of limited means. Great videography.
I would of ran an RS 3.8 rear spoiler on it & speed line wheels but those magnesium's are bad ass too!
Great build and vid!
Why dos this have low view count? It’s so good made
Precious
Who is the manufacturer of the fluid plumbing system and lines? Sounds interesting 🤔
Another disneyland toy for the rich
👌🏻
Wow it got sold to Hong Kong
besides it being wrong hand drive, this is perfect.
Maybe in your world 🌎 but not mine.
I watch this every week, but with ZERO volume. Listing to the fellas talk scream "Singer prices" which saddens my soul 😑
Can I be #8 please!
So special But to short of an intro
7:55. Stay in your lane
Nice. Could calm the speed in tight public places. A bit of community respect maybe??
Very funny seeing a totally raw German car in front of the 🇺🇸 flag …
0:27 😅 looks like the unmarried brother from Fat Mike ... singer & Bassman from NOFX. 🤡

Cool build but that was worst driving I've ever seen
