      Same here which started when I was 9.5 yes old. I eventually tried telling my mother who honestly called me "a little lying whore" which stuck with me throughout my teen years & into adulthood & affected my marriages. I'm in my 2nd currently & just celebrated 20yrs in Feb. 2023. I have tried many therapy sessions & about 7 therapists. Unfortunately the 6th one was truly helpful with this and decided to try EMDR therapy which became very helpful. I had to stop seeing him due to insurance issues and couldn't pay out-of-pocket. I think ANY type of mental/behavioral health should be covered no matter what but it is what it is. Have you tried the therapy? I know this therapist does do teleheath services but I don't know if EMDR can be done that way. I was also nervous to see him because he was a male too but he was one of the best I've seen. He's in Western PA. I couldn't even stand my husband (and my ex-husband) touching me a certain way but now the last 10-11yrs I've been able to handle it. We moved recently to another state 700 miles away & unfortunately, again due to insurance, have had such a hard time finding one. There was one that wouldn't even see me! After a brief phone consult they wouldn't return my calls etc. Anyway, I have been very open about things due to seeing that therapist that was extremely helpful. Don't get me wrong, others were but to an extent. I did lose one due to a suicide attempt which left me with heart issues & in ICU for over a week & then in psych unit for an additional 5-7 days. I'm grateful now that my husband found me at the time he did because any later I wouldn't have made it according to drs. These issues can greatly affect anyone and there's people out there that shrug it off when you try to open up and it just makes us, the victim, feel worse. There needs to be more attention to this, in my opinion. I'm writing a book here so I better end this. Please know that you are not alone. Much love to you ((hug)) always here for anyone that needs a good listener.

      @@butchmitch731 I don’t know if your calling me “Pilgrim” John Wayne or referring to someone else but MY point is I am saved by Jesus but I sin every day. It’s human. A In part of being a sinner and asking God to forgive you for your sins is being authentic. I’ve only ever seen Paris play the victim and the plain truth is I just don’t believe her. There are other “celebrities“ if that’s what you want to call her… That have truly been redeemed and are truly humble. That’s the main word right there… HUMBLE. You can still be on social media and take dumb selfies (I know because I do) and maintain a humble presence. The opposite of that is Entitled. So I’m not judging Paris, Im seeing through her façade. And frankly she’s the poster girl along with Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie (I’m not including Britney Spears because she’s always been real and authentic she just went through a hard time) for early 00’s entitlement and nepotism and everyone knew it back then. The more enlightened of us see she’s a Tiger who hadn’t changed her stripes. She’s always be spoiled rich nepo baby but the younger generation has now embraced Lindsay and Paris because frankly the world and the Internet has gone to 💩. And she’s the OG of vapid, meaningless talentless “entertainment” and so her sheep (like you) eat it up. It’s sad really. Being so delusional you can’t see through the transparent mess that she is. @@MrMannyhwI strongly disagree. I went to boarding school with Paris and she was shy but also one of the sweetest, most humble, and thoughtful girls there. Having never met her previously I was taken aback by the difference between the girl I was meeting and her public persona. I even initially questioned who was the "real" Paris. I can say it's heartbreaking the way some people feel it's okay to express their desire for heinous things to happen to her and her family. By her speaking out she has successfully opened the eyes of the public and politicians to the atrocities taking place every day at the boarding school we attended and the hundreds of others like them. She has also helped to implicate laws that have assisted in closing many of them down. It's not about her wish to share some of the most personal and horrific experiences she's been through, it's about wanting to protect other young women and men (girls/boys) from having to go through the same trauma we and thousands of others have experienced. So, if that's not a good enough reason for her to speak out and take some of her power back then I don't know what is.

  • @ioannadearc7901
    @ioannadearc7901 Год назад +9

    Paris is resilient mentally: if she did not compartmentalized her traumatic experience, she would have been broken.
    Her nature is very compassionate, and she is moved into action when she see others are being abused or mistreated. On the outside, she is this carefree persona (which is her mode of expression), but inside, freedom, equality, and right use of power is very important to her.
