If you just listen to the song without watching the video you get such a different image in your head. I see a cool middle-aged band playing this fun jazzy tune at the local bar with a bunch of couples getting up to boogie or whatever. In reality we have a group of young friends in onesies jamming it out with quirky dancemoves and zero f*cks given. I approve.
Much like when people first heard Rick Astley and thought that he was a mature black guy, not a young red-haired white guy.

THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL in this act is stunning. It wasn't until my second watch that I noticed the animated faces behind them were singing. The hair blowing on his face in the dramatic hook, two microphones for choreography, the LIVE synchronized camera looks and the cuts hiding the cameraman on the backstage. The energy from everyone on stage was nothing short of electric. Perfectly strange.
Usually bands can do few rehearsals on the stage, so this level of attention to many different details is quite extraordinary.
He is very driven and professional.. love it!
I would pay to see them sing Hatari song and Hatari singing this.

I've gotta say, Daði has a _terrific_ voice. It's better here than in the video! And he can certainly write a hook. He produced this, too, didn't he? Pfft! If they don't win-or even place-it doesn't matter. Daði's immensely talented. He could have a great career. And Hulda, too! She's also got a great voice.

This is so subtely brilliant as a parody. With the 'dramatic' pose at the start, the fake wind in his hair, the different camera angle looks, the makeshift fake instruments and the silly choreography, ... Ridiculing the contest in the best possible way. And still catchy af. Please win, Iceland x
I have a feeling this will either will rock the contest or fail miserably. There's no in between
I reckon it'll do amazing! It's the quirky that Eurovision loves! Has such meaning! And it appeals to the younger audience too with the awkwardness, so relatable and some older generations might vote just because it reminds them of their kids or grandchildren. Iv showed numerous people in Australia and they all want it to win even above our own. So the Tele votes will probably be amazing for them!

I like the song and the idea it was written to his baby girl. That's so sweet ❤️ competition is gonna be tough this year. Although I am very fond of Iceland-that was the first country in the world officially to recognise Lithuania’s independence back in 1991 I really wish Lithuania will finally win this contest for the first time ever. As an American, I absolutely love this song and have been sharing it with everyone I can 😊 it's not as easy to share acts like Little Big, Hatari, or The Roop lol. I enjoy all of them personally, but the wholesomeness of this song gives it the potential to be appreciated by a very, very diverse group of people in comparison.
