This is not just an ordinary ballad. This is raw, emotional and, most importantly, contemporary. It doesn't feel outdated like most ballads do. I truly hope this gets the impactful but also intimate staging it deserves at Eurovision
She should have performed at Eurovision without any dancers around. She is enough to dominate the scene. She has the voice, the talent, she is a treasure! If she had only sang in Eurovision as she did here (I mean only her on the scene, simple and plain) she would have won! She still is a treasure and will succeed! We support you Roxen! 😍🥰
with the dancer would be better but if her voice sounds worst is better just her with a microphone
she didn’t sound as good as some others because she was running around jumping and being held like upside down-
the amnesia staging was a good idea (yet messy) but when they learned roxen couldn’t cope they should have changed it immediately…
In my opinion it was simply the song‘s fault. Alcohol You was very strong, Amnesia wasn’t.

Piesa este wooowww și așa cred marea majoritate a străinilor, care comentează din SUA și până în Australia, din Russia și până în Spania, iar voi români din România , aveți mereu ceva de reproșat.

Am ascultat piesa lui Roxen cu sufletul la gură. O copleșitoare stare de emoție m-a cuprins observând fragilitatea rochiei și posibilitatea ca ea, rochia, să cedeze lui Newton, mă rog, legii lui. În fotografie este un comentariu la cântecul de chef și voie nulă a fătucii. Uitam de piesă: o interpretare bună, o piesă banală. Oricum nu se mai știe demult că Eurobizionul e un concurs de compoziție. Salamaleluia!

TVR, this song is amazing, but LET HER BE HERSELF! She needs to be authentic, she needs to wear the cool clothes she usually wear and needs to look young and fresh. Don't put her in a dress! Cherry red is not a song for her, is for Bella Santiago, for Inna, she is different artist, this is her, her trully deeply, so that was her favorite from the start, ours too, is a masterpiece, she feels it, she sells it, she kill it. And she sang 5 diferent songs in one selection, she had rehershals, do you know how hard is this ? No, because most of those who criticize dosen't know what it takes to be this good and to make this kind of moments. Nu cred ca exista om mai toxic ca romanul. Nimic nu e bun, totul e groaznic, si tot timpul e el cel mai destept. Dar cand e vorba sa actioneze in mod constructiv, replica tipica e "ce pot face eu?" bineinteles.
Stiu ca generalizez, si ca norocul avem si oameni buni, dar nu pot sa nu fierb cand vad cata ura si prostie este intr-o mare parte din romani.
Nu e doar romanul, e peste tot, generatia de troli de internet plini de idei si libertate de exprimare protejati de anonimitatea internetului.
Și orice piesa ar fi câștigat, oricum nu ar fi fost cea potrivită. Tipic roman
Multi judeca si duc lipsa de empatie ca si cum ar canta mai bine ca si ea, adica frate, ce rahat de om e îla care judeca, daca nu le place au Dani Mocanu si Salam in trending, muzica preferata a unui roman incult ...
Cine-i baga in seama? Poate nu a fost un live spulberator, dar are timp pana in mai sa lucreze la piesă. A avut 2-3 saptamani sa lucreze pe 5 piese, 100%live. E mai usor cand te concentrezi doar pe una.
Multi dintre haterii de aici sunt fanii cherry red, o melodie care nu i s-a potrivit deloc (sincer ma asteptam la asta). La Eurovision o sa voteze milioane de oameni care probabil nici nu stiu ce melodii vor fi in concurs. ăștia 5000 care comentează nu au atata relevanță pe cat vor ei sa creada. Asa ca Go Roxen. Ai 2 luni sa lucrezi pe piesă si sa le demonstrezi ce poti.

Cum naiba atâta hate ? Se vorbește in toată Europa de piesa asta, lumea o lauda. Casele de pariuri o considera a doua favorita la câștigarea competiției ...dar noi, care ar trebui sa o distribuim peste tot sa devină și mai cunoscuta pana in mai, noi criticam și aruncam cu noroi. Ne meritam soarta ca popor 1000%. Piesa e chiar tare, încă puțin la interpretare și cu o prezentare buna ... anul viitor avem Eurovision la București.
Nu te contrazic acum dar, in casele de pariuri a scazut pe 4 si o sa mai scada, iar preferata publicului din strainatate era "Cherry Red" motiv pt care a fost si pe locul 1
'Cherry Red' e piesa pe care ea o interpretează bine, dar care nu e genul ei. Când nu poti transmite mai departe de ecran spiritul piesei nu te duci cu ea la ESC, asta e tot!
Piesa asta o simte, plus de asta e masterpice.
La pariuri suntem acolo, n-am căzut în gol cum s-a mai întâmplat după aflarea piesei.

Cei care vorbesc urat sunt oameni carora le place barfa si sunt din categoria unica in lume ''sa moara capra vecinului''..sa nu le mearga niciodată bine, sa se vaicareasca poate primesc ceva de pomana.. trist...asa ceva nu am vazut vreodata la alte tari...majoritatea străinilor isi apreciaza cantaretii buni sau rai.

Melodia are un impact emoțional pe care expresia feței ei îl transmite sublim. Fata chiar simte piesa. Aș fi vrut să văd asta mai mult pe chipul ei.
Insă cei de la TVR parcă au filmat cu un satelit Nasa. Abia i se vede fața în câteva cadre și în alea îți sar sânii ei în ochi, că nah... așa se promovează baladele. Și ca să fie sigură treaba, mai sta și cu spatele 30 de secunde. La final abia mai știi despre ce e vorba. Se pierde mesajul atât de bine construit. Păcat, melodia e genială și are un potențial imens.

Wow, those lyrics are beautiful ❤️ “Alcohol you when I’m drunk” actually means “I will call you when I’m strong”, and as you can see the sentence is transforming until the end of the song where we have the real meaning. I believe that the narrator is drunk and that’s why she pronounces “alcohol you when I’m drunk” instead of “I will call you when I’m strong”. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how I understood it and the way that it’s built, the fact that we know the real lyrics at the end is SO clever. It moved me a lot, I love the song so much ❤️ My fave with Northway and Lithuania !Good luck from France ! 🇫🇷🥰
I wonder you romanians ,you don't feel ashamed to criticise our finalist ? I mean , the foreigners are giving more support and words of love to this young artist than we do . Why we can't appreciate our own music and artists? I guess it's a romanian people "quality" . Disappointing ! Although Cherry Red is my favourite out of 5 songs, I stand by Roxen's decision. I prefer seeing an artist perform a song that stays true to his/her artistic style.
And to anyone who says "Why does she have to go through the whole song selection if she already has a favourite?" Does it even cross your mind that the selection production involves more than just Roxen herself? And the selection is also a great marketing strategy.
