I bought this recently and also bought the Turtle Beach Velocity One Flight Yoke system that is newer to compare it against. I used the velocity one first and this one second. Genuinely felt like this was a pretty poor product at least in comparing it to the Turtle Beach one, which just has so many features in one package. Logitech Cons -Only 45 degree turns -Limited buttons on yoke -Won't attach to a desk with a beveled edge or curve in -Throttle Quadrant is decent, but if flying single piston planes mostly, you may want venire style knobs -Limited capability in programming of buttons and interface -No ability to see what button does what without going to control settings in-game or within programming window Pros - -Superior to Keyboard for control of plane -Simulates flight to a degree Just my two cents, take it for what its worth.
Thinking about getting this yoke because all the other flight sim stuff like the Hotas joysticks are only for Right handed people and us lefty's have been forgotten by all company's that make flight sim stuff and the only joystick I know of is the Thrustmaster T-1600 that you can switch from right to left handed
Hi.I recently purchased the Logitech rudder pedals. I find when flying the airliners the Boeing yoke is better to steer on the ground. Is that normal?Thx
That radio panel you mentioned that can be attached to the top. Does that extra part give me the ability to speak to live traffic control when playing flight simulator?
out of the box no. As of now (3/24/24) MSFS is working on next release AI that will allow you to talk into a mic, have it understand what you are saying, and give you a message back. The radio panel provides physical and tactile representation of all the operations in the comm radio panel in the simulator. There is a separate Comm panel in the plane that controls what mics are in use and what channels to listen to audibly through your speaker. The radio panel does not do that, it just mimics the radio panel in the simulator cockpit. I use it because it is so easy to change frequencies and swap them to active/inactive. The radio panel also offers a XPDR function so you can dial in and see a tranponder code and not have to do that with your mouse in the simulator. I highly recommend these panels. In order of budget I would order these in this order: multi panel (auto pilot), Comm/radio panel, and then switch panel. Hope this helps, enjoy.
Hi, I'm French and when I watch videos of French youtubers they always sai that's a bad yoke whish looks like a kid toy. They also sai that u can't turn more than 45° and always tlak about a dead zone but they are all the time comparing it whithe another yoke which is twice de price of that one What do you think about it, is there a dead zone, and are the 45° of turn really a problem (do we need the 90°) Thank for every answer or explanation about that yoke and excuse for my bad English
The deadzone seems different per unit. Mine has a pretty decent amount of it sadly enough. With flying i dont really notice it because i dont use high speed, high precision planes. So thats fine for now. But i am thinking of modding the board if needed. 45 degrees is more then enough while flying around normaly. You almost never go full left or right anyway. It does not feel to sturdy like you said. But also like you said, for the price there is nothing else out there. I sold my X52pro to get this one second hand. Quality is a step down but it is more what i wanted. I have fun with it. Thats what its about right. :) I sim race way more then i fly. So there is where i spend my money on better stuff. Thats where i see value for me. For flying a bit less since i dont spend as much time with it. It is just about your budget and wishes.
45 degrees is correct for the yoke it actually attempts to simulate. Which is the beach baron 58. Cessna has complete 90 degree, you could adjust the curves based on the plane you fly but some planes only have 45 degrees of yoke movement in real life, while others have 90.
Alors, tout les duex ces't pas le meme chose. They are correct. 90 degrees is more realistic. Dead zone adjustment is a personal choice and is intended to mimic a more realistic yoke but it does not work very well. Plus, ces't tres difficile por configuration.
About the throttle: I found that my throttle is connected, but not giving power to my aircraft/airplanes. How can this be so. I plugged it in and used it before. It worked very well. One day,I took the yoke and throttles off,so I can fly a stick driven aircraft. Now,I find that the throttle is not giving power, like I said from before. How can this be so? What is the best fix for this issue?
There is no inherent rudder function on the yoke but you could program one of several of the dual switches on the yoke to act as rudder, but best to get rudder pedals is you have a yoke. Why not?
Wind. Crosswind hitting the side, effectively pushing the plane. Or the rudder trim. You can add trim to the aileron or rudder,so it stays at a fix position, not requiring you to constantly hold the yolk. This is helpful when either there is a strong wind from the sides, and/or engine speed is pulling up the plane. Or just maybe the joytstick is not set up correctly :)))
Some types of aircraft dont have automatic landing gears like alot of older prop planes have permanent gear fixtures. Though this aircraft in the video does look like it has retractable functionality.
@@northernerierailroadproduc114so it does not come with landing gear i dont think but you can change what levers do what you want it to do so it you can make it your flaps lever
Short answer, you wouldn't be able to and would have to use the keyboard unless you buy the separate rudder pedals. My suggestion though would be to look at the Velocity One Flight Yoke from Turtle Beach. Without going into all the details in this reply, it is far superior in my opinion as I just compared both recently.
He explained that in the video. Just order a second throttle quadrant by itself, change out the knobs to match what you want, and plug the usb in. You may have to set up in your flight simulator for the three extra levers assignments.
just bought this and so far it sucks flying MSF2020 and its either im turning all the way or not trurning at all there is no smooth transition how the hell azre people using this
the mode button has three settings which correspond to three different configuration settings on the yoke for all the buttons, so basically you have three times all the buttons. You just have to switch the mode button if the button configuration is not in the default number one setting.

That throttle served me well for a good couple of years. Made the jump and upgraded to the honeycomb TQ.
How much of a PITA is it to get working in the first place? Driver hell ... USB nightmares.
I have a panel desk similar to this one and was worried if the clamps would fit. Looks like it does.
hey thanks for the video it was really helpful
just wondering is the yoke powered (connected to wall plug)? thanks
It is not wall powered, only USB powered.

He meant stick, yes there are options, for L- handed sticks. Check out Vbk or Virpil products!
Check out my response below.
@luciano tessa Yes that's why he was thinking of getting a yoke.
Try the Thrustmaster Airbus Captain pack, it is made to be used with both left and right handed people
Thank you. Excellent review. I have one coming friday.
This was a great video...very helpful.

Probably when you unplugged the throttle it configuration got messed up, I think you just need to set it again
The most important thing I wanted to know was how it felt compared to flying a real plane aka a cessna. Any feedback on that?
It's not motorized. Has springs so you're not getting realistic feedback. Still great to practice
Does anyone know why everytime my windows 10 is updated, my Saitek throttle settings are reset to factory setting? any help thanks.
Do I need a rudder?
No the question is why do we need a rudder
Yeah

will this work for warthunder? i wanna get this
Can I use it play with my Xbox ?
Do you need the yoke so the throttle quadrant can work or can you get the throttle quadrant alone and it'll work?
The throttle can be used with any stick or yoke you desire, it is not bound to the Logitech yoke.
Hello dude? It Works on Xboc Cloud on PC?
Can this be tied into, and work with an ipad pro ?

No it can't. But the Honeycomb Alpha XPC or Turtle Beach VelocityOne can.
