Spoilers! Actually now that I'm rewatching this scene I feel sorry for Chika. The reason that she was so scared was because she was worried that people would start disliking her for her 'abnormal' power. I'm glad that she got over this fear in the newer chapters of the manga and is finally starting to be more optimistic and not too selfless. Credits to Hyuse for actually trying to push her a little bit.
