Not part of this program but I love helping my neighbor Mrs. Garcia with her meals and to just keep her company. I really like her and she even lets me call her grandma Garcia. It’s also really fun to learn about how America has changed since she was a child in the 50s. I’m definitely going to miss her when it’s her time but for now I’m going to have as much fun with her as I can.

I got meals on wheels while ago. They called me and told me that if the meals show up late and are not frozen Don't Eat It. It showed up 3 days later in a big warm box. The cold packs had gotten warm. The meals were in small sealed black trays with the most horrible food in them. All the meat dishes were ground rubberized in water no spices. Apparently seniors hate flavor. The birds on my lawn liked them.deanonkathsphone
