I live right on the Mississippi river but only hunted out of a buddies permanent blind a couple times. Always wanted to boat hunt it what do you use for maps to tell you if you are in hunt/ no hunt zones on the river?
We seen guys running both doesn’t seem to be an issue with an out board if you know the river but a mud motor is handy for a lot of those shallow areas.

Could you run an outboard up there or is a mud motor the way to go? I have both just wondering what works best

Yeah we did! Seen one similar and tried to re create it. It’s all aluminum frame

No unfortunately I do not guide. We only get down there a few times a year to hunt the river.
